Melinda Barnes: Dr Kapnadak has been my OB for over 7 years. She and her lovely team at Sea-Obgyn have delivered all three of my babies, providing high touch care for both me and baby! She is a calm in the storm during pregnancy complications, always treating you with warmth, respect and encouragement. You won’t find a more personable, knowledgeable obgyn; I highly recommend her!

Courtney Macer: I have had nothing but great experiences here, on the GYN and OB side. I saw Clare Christensen for gynecological care first. She was kind, thorough, and so attentive. Then I saw Dr. Chen throughout my pregnancy. She has such a warm bedside manner. I felt very confident in her care and appreciated that she always left time for unrushed questions. Finally, I saw Dr. Bar-Joseph for my delivery at Swedish. Delivery is an interesting time as a patient because you're asked to make more decisions on the spot than you would in other medical settings. Dr. Bar-Joseph was very patient and empathetic in explaining options, and I always felt respected. I credit my positive feelings about my delivery to her calm approach -- I never felt out of control, even when plans had to change to protect baby's health. To top it off, the front desk staff made scheduling easy, and they were very accessible in helping me navigate billing questions after delivery. I cannot speak highly enough about my care at Northwest Women's Healthcare!

She made sure to understand us as a family, as a mom, and as a woman. She takes care of her patients as her own. Since my first pregnancy, I couldn't stop recommending her to my friends. She made sure I had a healthy delivery without any complications, she explained things and showed me the path of how to go about it. After having the best and the most comfortable experience with my first one, I decided to continue with her for my second pregnancy irrespective of the fact that I had to drive from North of Seattle to meet her for all of my appointments. Her love of her patients and her profession is evident in the way she handles all the patients. She is definitely one of the best. She's always there for you whenever you have to pop a question, she and her team make sure to take care of the questions. I will continue with her as long as I am in Washington. Also, she took care of my labor for the second one, still can't forget how she supported me did not let me give up, pushed me through my labor, and handed my baby into my arms with all safety. Always grateful to her.

Heather Richards: Going with Dr, Foltz for my pregnancy was one of the best decisions I made throughout the process. She is incredibly professional and caring and acts as a true partner in your care through the entire process.My BP was raising toward the end of my pregnancy and was trending toward preeclampsia. Dr. Foltz recommended an induction at 39 weeks due to this issue so we scheduled it for the following week. The nurses at Swedish working with Dr. Foltz were complete angels and cared for me the entire time and I managed to give birth to a very health baby girl in just 3.5 hours!! All while managing to very effectively minimize the pain I felt and keeping me informed of what was happening the whole time.If you are looking for an OB go with Dr. Foltz, you won’t regret it!

Venkateshwar Kottapalli: Dr. Foltz and Rebecca were wonderful. They made sure to clarify all our doubts and questions. Then ensured we had a pleasant journey through Parenthood. Dr. Foltz is easy to talk to, listens to our concerns patiently and has a strong presence in the room. A doctor on call is available 24*7. This was most helpful during the weeks nearing labor.

Krystal Vazquez: I have been seeing Dr. Peter Brandon for over 10 years now. Even after moving and needing to commute for about an hour, I still have him as my doctor. I remember in college having trepidation over seeing a male provider for my annual visits and everything involved, but he has incredible empathy and bedside manner and quickly put those worries to rest. He is so knowledgeable and thorough and goes above and beyond to explain everything that I'm unsure about. M: I had a really good visit with Dr Brandon here for a gynecology appt where I had to have a colposcopy done. I've never been here before and also never had a male doctor before for gynecology. I didn't know what to expect but everyone was very nice and professional. Dr. Brandon did a great job, he explained everything so I understood what was happening with the colposcopy procedure, had nice bedside manner, answered all my questions, and was gentle. The nurse and receptionist were also nice and have been very professional with me, even with paperwork/medical record issues we had in getting me enrolled. I would recommend this clinic and Dr Brandon for women's health appointments!

Mary Schimmelman: Dr Brandon is a very smart, caring, friendly person who is also a top-notch doctor with oodles of experience and an open mind. I’ve seen him through three pregnancies and beyond and he never fails to give 100% of his attention to me as a person and my unique situation. People ask if I care that he’s a man and I say absolutely not, he’s a doctor first and more empathetic due to his own fatherhood and life experiences. I recommend Peter 1000%! And, of course all of his co-workers are great because cool attracts cool! If you’re looking, give Dr B a try!

J A: I would like to share the extremely positive experience I had with Dr. Heath Miller and all the staff I encountered at the The Women's Health Center at UWMC Roosevelt and the UW Neighborhood South Lake Union in Seattle. Being a new patient and with an urgent medical condition, the office staff worked me in to Dr. Miller's busy schedule right away. Dr. Miller was very professional and patiently explained to me and my husband the nature of my problem and the possible causes. His words and bedside manner put us immediately at ease. He performed my surgery in a very well organized setting- UWMC Roosevelt- and he updated my husband immediately after my procedure. A few days later he called us personally with the pathology report and carefully explained the results. I could not have asked for a better experience!

J Cramer: Dr. Heath Miller has taken care of my entire family and I for years. He has operated on myself twice and provided care to both my sister and mother. He has helped us through the best of times, and the most difficult of times. He has provided exceptional surgical judgement when others failed or provided only traditional open surgery as opposed to minimally invasive options. He takes the whole person into consideration when offering care and advice, and I can’t think of a more gentle and knowledgeable physician. When I became pregnant with my beautiful baby girl, there is no one I trusted more than him to deliver her. He is a charm and a surgeon/physician other doctors refer their loved ones to.

Seema Grover: I was recently diagnosed with a large fibroid in my uterus and I called to schedule a consultation with Dr Miller. I did not realize I had his direct number and to my surprise, Dr Miller himself picked up the phone. Instead of simply redirecting me to his assistant, Dr Miller took the time to listen to my situation as I was worried at that time, comforted me and said he will make time to see me within a week. I already felt better. Dr Miller’s assistant called me back immediately and scheduled my appointment for the following week. Dr Miller spent upwards of an hour on my first visit, discussed all possible solutions with me and did due diligence to ensure that the proposed surgery will indeed fix my symptoms. Anticipating that I will have follow up questions, Dr Miller gave me his phone number so I can text as needed. It was a lot of information to digest and I had follow up questions. I texted Dr Miller with my questions the following day and within minutes, Dr sent a detailed and clear response that answered all my queries. Few days before the surgery, I texted again with another question and Dr Miller responded within minutes with a clear answer. On the day of the surgery, staff at UW took really good care of me. Most importantly, Dr Miller and his team performed the surgery so well that it did not feel I had a major surgery afterwards. I decided to stay overnight at the hospital and have been healing really fast since. I had a really good experience with Dr Miller where all through I could trust I was in really good hands!

Frani Kruschwitz: Dr Miller took on my daughter’s very difficult case. She is 19 years old and unable to have children due to a rare genetic disease. She also has epilepsy. Her seizure medication does not work when she has her period. Dr Miller was incredibly kind, thorough and responsive to all of our concerns.I had a surgery 16 years ago performed by Dr Miller and his photos from the surgery helped diagnose another severe bowel problem I had.We are so grateful for Dr Miller!

Ivy K: Dr. Miller was my surgeon 5 years ago for an exploratory surgery looking for endometriosis. I was in incredible pain for years before seeing him and no other doctors really thought endometriosis was the cause. From what I remember, he said that the severity of my case was one of the most surprising he’s come across. My endometriosis was far worse than anyone expected. Because of his work during that surgery, I have been overall pain free these past five years. I do hope he’s still local and practicing when I try for a baby and need surgery again, because I know that he is the very best and is the only doctor I really trust.
