Liam Blodgett (L Blo): up to at least 32kg, floorspace to train ballistic KB movements and get-ups, open gym hours between 6:30-8:00am, permission to use chalk and train barefoot or in socks, a high bar for dead hangs and pull-ups.Three days in, Pro Fit is meeting my requirements at a fair price, and the staff has been helpful and courteous. My only request would be for a second 24kg bell in the class space, and/or a pair of them in the gym turf area.

Ian Hong: .It is well-equipped, always clean, and the staff and regulars are friendly. This is not an expansive gym, but in addition to the cardio equipment, it has racks, a smith machine, leg press, cable and plate-loaded machines, barbells and dumbbells, and benches. Even for those who are quite serious about their workouts, the equipment should be more than enough to get a great session in. Signup and cancellation were both very painless. Overall, I'd highly recommend this gym.

Working out with a trainer in a larger gym always caused some discomfort, not to mention all the machines or free weights felt overwhelming. Eventually I would fizzle out in the spaces because I never felt comfortable or I would see others and compare my progress to theirs and feel overwhelmed and lose motivation.
When I initially visited Local Fit, I was happy to see it was a smaller, more intimate space. It felt approachable and peaceful, like a really nice at home gym, with all the essentials. During the initial consultation, we spoke through my goals, my preferred availability, and available trainers. Immediately the prospect of working with Yevhenii seemed like a great fit and our availability aligned perfectly.
Over the last few months I was able to get started and within a short period of time could feel the genuine results. Yevhenii explains the motions, what they are targeting, and gives alternatives or variations based on my needs/ability. I feel comfortable in the gym and also really motivated because I can make progress in my own time.
I absolutely recommend this space to anyone who has felt that same intimidation at other gyms and wants to start of progress their fitness journey. I also highly recommend Yevhenii, as his approach is fantastic and whether you’re starting back at day 1, like me, or a more advanced athlete, his knowledge of various workouts and motions can meet you where you are.

Clalissa Yi: Laura has changed my life in so many ways! She is the first personal trainer I've ever worked with and we've been working together for the last year and a half. Laura is extremely knowledgable about her field and helped me become the strongest I've ever been while also avoiding / preventing injuries. I have a very sensitive low back which has been prone to nerve pain. Laura has been very accommodating of my unique needs. In the time that we've worked together, I've hit many new PRs, found new confidence at the gym, and have never felt so good in my own body. Not only that, she takes the time to educate me on the "why" in my programming and overall fitness education. She's awesome, smart, and so easy to work with. Highly recommend!

Kenzie Garrow: I’ve been working with Laura for over a year now and it has been an absolute dream! I sustained a back/hip injury 10 yrs ago in high school and I finally got the ok to start building the muscle backup after working with my doctors on/off. I started going to the gym but I had ZERO clue on what to do to build the muscles in my back again. My job is incredibly physically demanding and I was starting to have issues again since I hadn’t made progress by myself.I looked up female personal trainers on a complete ADHD inspired whim and Laura was the first person to pop up. After looking through her incredibly delightful website, I reached out and haven’t regretted my decision since! I have never met a person who is so positive, cheery, understanding and non-toxic before, especially in the fitness field.I’ve been really open about my struggle with nutrition habits and my struggle with being consistent with at home workouts due to my neurodivergent brain. Not once has Laura made me feel bad/lacking about these things. For example: I first started working on improving my water intake and when I met with Laura for our next couple of sessions, I was able to tell her that I found a way to increase it. She was just as excited as I was and encouraging! She didn’t immediately tell me what I should do next or make my current accomplishment seem less than. She has always let me take things at my own pace. When I told her I was eating my calories in multiple meals instead of all of them at then end of my shift, she matched my excitement. When I was able to tell her I was finally eating MORE calories/protein, again she matched my excitement. She didn’t overwhelm me with a bunch of information that my neurodivergent brain wasn’t ready to process yet while still encouraging me about my current success and working with what I was able to do in that moment.I could keep going on about all of the amazing physical and mental progress I’ve made with Laura but that would probably be another 4 paragraphs! Especially, since I thought I left a review after working with her for 6-ish months but somehow I didn't finish it😅In conclusion, Laura has help me build more strength back into my body than I thought I would be able to, she has help me find my confidence and love again with my body, my relationship with food is finally healing, and my neurodiverse brain is finally making healthy connections due to the support and training from Laura. Also, her dogs are heckin’ cute and the perfect workout buddies! I am incredibly excited to see where I will be in another 6-12 months!

Sean Myers: What’s not to love about Laura?So, a bit about me, starting out I had never done any real weight lifting. For nutrition, I probably had 5-6 order in meals in a week. This led me to have around 22% body fat, not the healthiest. This was the starting point. My only goal at first was “get to a healthy body fat and get a toned look”, which Laura helped translate that into achievable goals over a 6 month time frame. After those 6 months, I went from barely being able to squat an empty bar, to squatting a bit below 185lbs, it felt incredible and empowering.It was a bit by bit work, and sure there were weeks I go out, break the nutrition plan for the week by accident, but Laura is more of the person of making it more of a lifestyle to be healthy, not a “oh, you didn’t follow the plan this week, you should feel horrible “. If I were to stop our sessions, I would feel confident that I could continue to maintain a healthy lifestyle even with the little speed bumps along the way.I cannot recommend Laura enough, if you are looking for someone who is dedicated to helping you shape and attain your goals in fitness or healthy eating — LS Training is the place to go.

Andrea Karissa Vallejos: become the ones I looked forward to the most. Aside from gaining strength, my technique and form for all my compound lifts improved significantly. Laura provides extensive feedback at the end of each training week along with words of encouragement, which may seem like a small gesture but is extremely helpful on days when I struggle with negative thoughts. amanda ogden: Working with Laura was the best decision I ever made. I lived with lower back and shoulder pain for 6+ years caused by an injury from a car accident. My movement was restricted by pain. Working with physical therapists and other professionals helped temporarily alleviate the pain, but I couldn’t fully get past it. She was the first professional who was able to help me overcome the pain and start to build muscle. In three months, I was able to deadlift 150 lbs. when I first started I could barely squat. She’s really passionate about helping her clients and meeting them at their level. She makes training a comfortable and safe environment. I couldn’t recommend working with her enough!

Cam Bell: Transform 180 SLU…Great 2-level, all-hours gym with all the right equipment. Gets busy but never over crowded. Excellent atmosphere. Parking is nice. Trainers are knowledgeable and fun. Consistently upgraded and maintained.

Marilyn Weissman: Just some feedback for Trainer Kari..she is superb. The routine she gives me is one I can do although it is really, really hard for me. She has a planned format and time is valuable for both of us. Cannot recommend her enough.

We visited while on vacation in Seattle and we will definitely come again on our next trip!Accessibility: Easily accessible, their scheduling app makes picking a workout, time, and payment very easy. It took me less than 5 minutes, very impressed for a non-corporate gym. They had so many class options and times available I had no excuse not to workout. The facility is located on a corner and you can’t miss it, well lit and with lots of lockers and storage areas plus showers if you need them.Workout: Our regular gym is a strength and CrossFit gym and we fit right in. The Strength and Muscle classes we attended met the same needs we work regularly. Kyle is an awesome coach and spent the whole hour moving between all the attendees and assisting with form and modifications to meet each persons needs. The scalability of each exercise meant my wife and I each got a strenuous and worth while workout. They used a huge variety of strength options including kettlebells, TRX, dumbbells, barbells, and calisthenics+plyometrics. Awesome workout.Staff: As stated above, expertly friendly and helpful. From our first time popping in to inquire about drop in availability, to our last class they were a real high light of the experience. Extraordinarily friendly and approachable. They helped us pick out the best options for our schedule and get set up quickly with no hassle.Facility: Modern equipment that is well maintained. Clean, and well laid out. They had equipment I hadn’t seen at larger gyms including weight scaling options that you really have to look for if you want them, such as clip on weights for intermediate settings.

Sarah Prentice: This is the best gym I’ve ever been a member of. There’s a variety of exercises built into each group training class, so you’ll never be bored or without a challenge. The trainers provide a perfect balance of encouraging you to do what feels right for your body, but also pushing yourself to discover what you’re capable of. greg bear: , kinetic exercise / body-weight exercise, banded stuff like you'd do in PT, etc. There's new movements added all the time, keeping it very fresh. It's light on traditional cardio - which is great - strength training is much harder to do on your own I think w/o a good coach watching.There are personal trainers available also, but I've really enjoyed the small group training. Classes are kept small, never more than 10 people, so are getting technique adjustments and personal attention, help with weight selections, mods if needed. I'm always sore, but recoveries are quick - they don't let me overdo it - and also don't let me underdo it

Kacie Stovall: I have been attending the 8x/month small group training classes since 2021. The work outs are so thoughtfully curated and the small class sizes ensure the trainer is able to assist each individual, no matter their skill level. I usually attend Kyle's classes and the high level of expertise is obvious. He knows exactly why one exercise is paired with another and the benefit of each small variation in movement. Even the warm ups and cool downs change daily to match the movements performed. More than that, they care about your safety and your progress. Both Matt and Kyle, regardless of who is leading the class, will often assist me with correcting my form or choosing an appropriate weight that challenges me. I would recommend this gym for absolutely anyone!

Mo Nasr: I have started training with Wolfgang for 3 weeks now.Wolfgang has been a great coach. he is very attentive during workouts and have helped me with helpful feedback to slowly fix the muscle imbalance and to be able muscle isolation during workouts. He came up with a custom plan for my goals and has provided interesting and fun cardio plans than just using the treadmill.

Levi West (W&BM): Went and tried a 3 day pass and did a yoga class. Ended up really liking the yoga class and the staff and trainers I met we're all welcoming and same with the members that I worked out with.

Noah Taylor: Fremont Health Club is a phenomenal gym. I previously went to the LA fitness in Ballard however it was always over crowded and chaotic. FHC has a much better workout environment and never feels too crowded. They recently added some premium equipment making this already great gym even better. The staff is also extremely friendly and helpful, I highly recommend joining this gym.

Greg Mushen: I love this place. I’ve been a member of other gyms in the neighborhood, and this place is my favorite. There’s a great selection of equipment, a sauna, and there’s rarely a wait for any of the equipment.

Despite its popularity, it never feels crowded or overwhelming, thanks to the abundance of available machines and workout space.What truly sets this gym apart, however, is its people. The instructors are incredibly kind and always eager to provide individualized support. Their encouragement and guidance have made a world of difference in my fitness journey. Furthermore, the owner's generosity with membership policies is genuinely commendable and has made it possible for my entire family to enjoy the benefits of this amazing facility. I can't recommend this gym highly enough — I don’t ever write reviews, but it's truly a five-star establishment.

I've only done the personal training but I've witnessed the classes and they seem to be top quality with motivating instructors. during covid-19 Ian and all his people have taken up safety protocols to a standard you can expect during the pandemic. I find the scheduling easy for however many days per week I want, and rescheduling never an issue. if you have a personal goals your working towards al you have to do is tell your trainer and they will start working you towards your goals. there are multiple locations so certain times its harder to get there but also because there's multiple locations it makes scheduling for when you want to workout super easy. I would 100% recommend anyone do a trial session, and talk to them about your fitness goals, there isn't any harm in that.

Ryan Ollos: Ian has pushed and encouraged me and the work is paying off. This is an intense 30 min workout. I've done hundreds of workouts at Orange Theory and this matches or bests the intensity of the hardest of those. You will get a lot out of it.
