Elizabeth Servey: Friday afternoon after speaking to someone in the office when our sewer broke, Bob Oates had someone out to our house with in the hour. Very respectful associate and team came out and had assessed the situation and had a plan to fix the sewer by the end of the day. They used a camera that showed them and help explain to us what was the problem and where it was. We did have four other companies out on Friday afternoon and most did similar work and had similar prices to fix our problem. Bob Oates impressed me with the over all knowledge, equipment, and workers for our problem. Their office impressed me with their assistance, offered a military discount and helped us set up zero percent financing! Bob Oates offered to be out on Sat morning to do the work, but we passed and they came Monday morning and by the end of the day our sewer was working again!! They were very helpful in showing us the remaining of the sewer line to understand possible future problems. Bob Oates applied for the needed city permit. They were able to put in a NuFlow liner with a 20 year warranty to protect us in the future. Bob Oates never made us feel any pressure in the liner! Bob Oates was able to do the liner and all the work in house and did not have to contract out to another company. One stop problem solver!! The workers were very respectful of us, our yard and basement. They protected our yard from the digging and put everything back and cleaned up very nicely. The office was very easy and friendly to deal with the payment and paperwork. We 100% would recommend them to family and would use their service again in the future! Our project manager Julian was always prompt and courteous and professional. He took the time to explain what was being done and why. I had several follow up emails/texts with questions that I'm sure would drive anyone nuts, but Julian was always patient and polite and thoroughly answered all of my concerns. When it came time to the installation, there were some delays caused by some staffing issues, but Julian made sure we were appraised of the situation and made sure we were taken care of. I will be attending more of their classes in the future to further my education. I went in knowing absolutely zero about air conditioning or electrical.In just 8 weeks, Crawford and the other teachers, Troy, Chris, and Liam, gave me not only the knowledge but, more importantly, the hands-on experience to seek employment in the HVAC trade with confidence.The teaching methods applied are not a traditional boring classroom setting. Instead, you work with and support every other student in a hands-on, "we all learn it and know it together" kind of way. It built a real sense of community, and I made some real friends that I will have for life.Before attending, I wasn't sure a career in HVAC was going to suit me or if I could even do it. This class builds such a strong foundation for those looking to get started in the hvac industry. The amount of training you receive in this class and the unique way that they teach students sets you up to enter the field with a strong confidence and understanding of hvac systems. The majority of the class had zero experience coming in and ended the class with more knowledge and technical skills than a lot of the techs in the field today. Highly recommend for those feeling under trained or those just wanting to start their hvac careers. Will be looking into taking more classes in the future.

Ben Bechtold: I recently attended and successfully completed the “Gas Furnace Troubleshooting” and “Air Conditioning & Heat Pump Fundamentals” classes offered by the school. I had never had any exposure to the tools or methods of the field of HVAC prior to this experience. I came away with what I feel is an incredibly solid foundation of knowledge and understanding from which to build a new career upon.I found the teaching method employed, and hands on training of the school, to be incredibly effective. The amount of effort that goes into creating the learning environment and the training devices there is truly impressive. The instructors have great knowledge and experience in the field as well as a sincere interest in seeing the students achieve success in their pursuits. Cooperation and collaboration with your partners in the class is encouraged and to everyone’s benefit in that “All of our minds working together, are smarter than any one mind alone.” Asking for and giving help to each other builds a positive team environment and helps solidify the concepts and information being taught.Upon completion of the coursework the school put together a packet of current job inquiries by companies through the school, as well a list of companies that have sent their employees for additional training in an effort to help with my job search. Their Study session prior to taking the EPA certification for Refrigerants was also very helpful.I am now two months into my new career as a Refrigeration and Restaurant Equipment repair technician, the knowledge that I gained from the school has proved invaluable, and allowed me to have a great head start with my new job.When I signed up for school I was looking to learn something new, change careers, and in doing so, change my life. I feel like I have succeeded in all that. I am truly thankful for all that I have gained through attending the HVAC School.

Michael Durham: I've taken both the air conditioning and the furnace classes from Ben and Crawford. Both were excellent and have assisted me in my HVAC career. This is not your standard school. These are hands-on classes and you'll spend more time with a meter in your hand than a book in front of you. The sessions are jam packed. Come ready to learn. The notebook you receive is worth the price of the class.

Joshua Nash: Crawford and Ben do a great job in insuring you get to throughly go through each mechanical component in hvac equipment. I wouldn't be the technician I am today without their teachings. After taking their classes it gave me the confidence I needed to go out and solve some of the most difficult problems. Understanding hvac is difficult and these guys make it a breeze and you have a fun memorable time doing it. From parts to wiring schematics to flaring and brazing this school covers it all. I reccomend it to anyone looking to expand their craft and build their network.

It is very unassuming in its appearance but the knowledge housed within its walls is emense.I am new to the HVAC/Refrigeration world but have minor experience in electrical and troubleshooting. I have recently been in the field learning installation and service for the residential market. Although, even with my experience, coming into this class with the attitude that I know nothing about this subject really helped.I took the Heat pump/Mini-split class at the beginning of May 2023. The owner Ben and his son Crawford, who is leading the main instructions, have a wonderful way of conveying the basic science of refrigeration and the processes in which to discover problems with the systems and how to remedy them. They do this all with a great sense of humor and sound logic. There was a huge amount of information to absorb in 6 days but with the "hands-on," approach to learning that is encouraged, I feel extremely confident in my skills returning to the field. They allowed after hours shop time to hone your skills and were willing to answer any questions with an open mind.I will let you all know that if you attend this class you will need to bring an electrical meter/tester but all else is provided for this specific class. Parking is limited on site but call ahead and they will explain the best places to park at or near the school property.Overall I highly recommend this class. The final day on mini-splits was worth the money. These folks will teach you what no one else will teach you on how they work and why they are so efficient.Great work Ben and Crawford. It was a pleasure to meet you and the wonderful classmates I had. No egos. I wish all of you the best on your journeys.To conclude, anyone on the fence and wanting to grow your knowledge of HVAC and refrigeration, commit to it 100% with an open and thirsty mind and you won't regret it. Nate Kamps: I highly recommend HVACR School! I just completed the RS103 AC/Heatpump/intro to ductless week crash course. I’m new to the hvac technician world as of last summer and did this course to get a better understanding of AC/heat pumps. I haven’t been in a learning environment in years and I was worried how I’d do. This wasn’t like anything I was expecting. Ben and Crawford really have put so much work into this and it shows. The hand built trainers and their ability to get the info to us and jump right into some hands on learning really helped me retain the info. I’m excited to apply this in my everyday work. I want to take the furnace class in the future!

Lou Glass: Timing. A leaking main water feed occurred late Saturday night on MLK weekend when plumbing emergencies were everywhere due to the cold snap. I called 3 plumbing repair vendors Sunday. Raymark was the only one to have a live person answer. An estimator visited my property the next day, Monday, and supplied a bid to replace the leaking 58 year old galvanized underground feed. A crew showed up Tuesday and ran a temporary line from my meter to the house. Water flow restored after only 2 days of shutoff. Wednesday the Ditch Witch boring machine showed up and placed a new approximately 60 foot plastic underground feed line. Thursday a crew showed up for final connection of the new line and site cleanup, working in cold rain and mud. I was always informed by phone when a crew was coming out and they always appeared as promised. Every worker on the project worked hard, knew their stuff, and they were friendly and courteous. The final bill came in exactly as quoted - no nickel and dime add-ons in spite of going the extra mile such as relocating my crawl space shutoff valve to where it could be quickly accessed in an emergency. To get this level of service, without price gouging, during an area-wide plumbing crisis really impressed me.

Ivy L: It's very rare to be 100% satisfied with a contractor, but we had a great experience with Raymark. We hired Raymark to repair a water pipe leak on our property. They were very professional and responsive throughout the whole process. We got quotes from three different companies and Raymark's was the most reasonable.
