The Furniture Guy Consignment: what do users think?

Friday Hunt: My review is from the other end. I love his mid- century modern style, when we downsized we consigned several large pieces of furniture and are very pleased at the professionalism there. He is clear, organized, and prices things to sell quickly but also making enough for both parties to be happy with a 59/50 split. He will also consign IKEA pieces if their style fits in, but at a lower price to make sure they will sell. The shower room is always clean, and there is enough space to display all the pieces attractively. All in all, I’m very happy, and if I needed any furniture that type, I would definitely shop there.

Janelle Kidd: They were nice and had cool stuff

Herakles Li: As the name suggests, a fairly big store of furniture and other household decorations. Prices, and most helpfully dimensions are marked on each item. Most things we checked out seemed to be in good condition.

roxane jude: Great for retro furniture and consignment

Oscar Manjarrez: The place has an amazing selection of furniture, some more on the costlier side byt still wonderful. Unfortunately nothing caught my eye to purchase. If I had a bigger place I'd check them out again for some of their bigger pieces.

Jeann'e Pertile: Nice.

Diego Perez: Great prices for high-quality furniture. I have come in to buy most of mine since my move from Texas. You'll find the eclectic pieces you never knew you wanted.David has helped me immensely throughout my time here, making the furniture buying process quick and easy. I couldn't recommend him and this store enough!

Bryan Schoener-Scott: Limited selection but good prices and customer service.

Bhagya Perera: Good furniture for reasonable price

Rob Reid: This is always my first stop when I need something. There are so many great things. They don't always have what I need. But if I can wait, I'll revisit for a few weeks because I always love when I find something here.

Dixon's Furniture: what do users think?

Randy Stalcup: Great manager and experience!

Bev Lockhart: Got a great couch!

Angela Escobar: Awesome store and a must-go if you enjoy finding hidden treasures. Shawn was super helpful and kind. I found a beautiful mid-century modern chair and mirror. It felt good to reuse and give these two items a new home, and also to support this business!! I've been wanting to go here since I arrived in Seattle and wish I had sooner. I plan to go back from time to time as it sounds like they turn around items quickly and you never know what you could find!

Timothy Gray: Awsome.

Keith Connor: Very friendly very helpful quality furniture for a good price used obviously and some rough items as you will find in any used furniture store but for the most part reasonably priced and the owner is willing to work with you on price if it seems out of range which is rare and very cool so overall an excellent experience was picking up items for my disabled veteran friend and it went smoothly and all the items were what she needed as great an experience as you can have in furniture store granted the location is a little bit tricky but it's nice because put up right in front of the store he also does delivery for a very reasonable price so we just opted not to because I have to truck overall awesome experience would definitely do business with them have already referred him to many of my recently transplanted friends to the Seattle area that need furniture for their empty apartments and homes.

Ike Jockers: Its a shame this place doesn't have 5 stars. The owner is kind, helpful and willing to work with you. The inventory turns over pretty fast so if there is nothing you like at first just wait a week or two. From now on anytime I need furniture this will be my first stop.

Darlina Edgley: Bought a beautiful bed here

Velk Egger: Seriously the best prices on used furniture I've found - call ahead if you want bed frames, they sell out super quickly!

Leonardo Velazquez: Alright

y law: , Set of six matching chairs, desk, and shelves here. They were so nice and helpful! Love this place.

Ballard Consignment Store: what do users think?

Liz White: Amazing store! I just dropped off small items for consignment, and was delighted to browse their offerings. A most welcome antidote to Ikea. Stunning furniture and home decor from all different eras, all high quality. Huge space as well. A fun place to browse!!

Phil Flickinger: My wife and I just made our first trip here and were really impressed. They have a great selection of furniture and framed art, and we ended up buying a coffee table that was perfect for our family room. Bell Occhio Home: what do users think?

Jeffrey Dorgan: We have always had great customer service at Bell Occhio. Everyone who works there is incredibly experienced and kind. We keep going back and finding unique quality items to decorate our home. Thank You!

Susan: I'm so thrilled you are still there and ooen. With all if the construction I wasn't sure. Glad I took a chance and stopped by today. My home is filled with beautiful unique items from your store.

John Simmons: I have purchased many items over the years from Bell Occhio Home and have been very happy with all my purchases. They tend to carry high-end items that are always in excellent condition and provide a reasonable price range that is considerably less than you would pay for theses items retail. And, all the staff are wonderful and helpful. Their website is constantly updated with pictures of all the new inventory and, for those of us who live outside the Seattle area, is extremely helpful. I rarely write reviews, but I just purchased two chairs and a bench from Bell Occhio for my living room and am extremely pleased. This is an exceptional store. Visit if you can, it''s a great experience!

Christine Mroczek: My favorite shop to visit when I'm in Seattle. Bell'Occhio sells High Quality used Furnishings. Wonderful selection of gently used furniture and oriental rugs. I'm a repeat offender. I can't help but stop here whenever I'm in town. I've purchased most of my furnishing from them. The quality of furnishings is better than any in Seattle. Product moves fast so I visit often. Great website. Staff is quick to respond to inquiries and willing to help. Honest pricing for quality made furniture. No junk here.Huge Showroom! Free parking against the building in the back -

Gaye Scott: Love this beautiful store!

Elizabeth Anderson: Like new, High Quality, consignment furniture!! Great variety of furniture. Wonderful finds!!! I love this place and would highly recommend it.

D P: Nice stuff. Great setting

Rob: My favorite place to shop. Been a rugular customer and consigner for over ten years. Great furniture and professional staff.

Big Whale Consignment: what do users think?

Discover Far Off Places: The gentleman there is extremely knowledgeable in the furniture that sells in his store. He has a good eye for quality furniture and I definitely recommend if you're in need for something looking through his inventory. He moves a lot of pieces so new quality furniture is coming in regularly..

Bhu Bains: Stumbled on this shop and was so enamored ! Half the shop is vintage, curated. You won’t need to sift through lots of low quality here. You can tell the pieces have been selected, and are priced as such. Awesome mid century selection, have my eye on a couple bigger pieces. The other half is an art / plants / decor and gifts shop that is such a delight to wander through. So many local artists.

MARTHA Hopler: I love the added side with pop art.

Marisa: My second time in the shop to pick up holiday gifts and there’s always such good finds here. The owners are super kind and helpful! I’ll be definitely be returning.

Herakles Li: I don't know why it took so long to check this shop out! In addition to having a large array of vintage furniture and other goods, there is an entire room dedicated to art crafts created by local artists which I thought was really neat. They also have a surprising number of plant pots and plants for sale.

Dani Dones: Visited from LA while I was in town because my dear friend has her ceramics in the Maker’s Market, and now I’m searching for an equivalent experience in my home city. The shop was so well-curated and I was struck by how clean everything was! I’m accustomed to antique and vintage stores that are caked in dust, but you could tell the staff takes abundant time to clean here. Amazing pieces at the maker’s market aside, the mainstay furniture was all restored and cared for beautifully, and you can tell the owner has a serious talent for me buying vintage pieces and giving them a second life. My fiancé and I love the art and gifts I brought back home. Can’t wait to return next time I’m in Seattle!

renzo ray: Renzo is really helpful and friendly, good looking too he definitely deserves a raise.

Modele's Home Furnishings: what do users think?

Albert J Berger: We consigned a number of items of furniture with Modele's when we sold our Seattle condo. Modele's did an amazing job selling all the items that were consigned. Thank you Modele!

Jayne Bray: Great place with unique pieces.

Annette de Soto: We really love the always changing and interestingly curated collection of furnishings at Modele's. We have found several wonderful pieces for our home. Their furniture is consistently in very good condition and the variety helps one discover pieces that aren't available in current design stores. Best of all, the staff members are always friendly and willing to offer their perspective and assistance. A true gem!

Sue Frause: Great selection of lightly used furniture.

Leland Rockoff: They carry outstanding stuff. Friendly staff. If you like something they have, buy it -- items can sell quite quickly.

Brian Freer: Outstanding design team, quality service and integrity. All in beautiful downtown Magnolia.

Jennetta White: Modele's is a beautifully curated home furnishings store. It s a joy to browse and shop there. The furniture and accessories are of exceptionally good quality and condition. The store is staged in lovely livable vignettes which change often. The staff is friendly while allowing you to browse without hovering, and is readily available should you want assistance. Each item is clearly tagged with relevant details. A great location for small gift shopping also.

David Bluestein: We have been a Modeles customer for 20 years. Our favorite furniture and accessories are from Modeles. The staff is well trained and you are always greeted warmly. Modeles has been written up in local and national publications. If you are lucky you will get a kiss from the shop dog Betty!

Liyiming Ke: I heard about this place from an artist saying that the owner has a good eye. Pieces here are interesting and almost unique. But they cost a bit more than other consignment stores and the selections are smaller. If you are patient and know what you are looking at, this could be a great place to visit often.

SI Fitness: I have use Modell's for a couple of purchases now. Deb and Rob are excellent at what they do. Their prices are fair and they are easy to deal with and generally just nice people. The clincher for me was talking to a woman in Modele's who told me that she had been an interior designer for years and loved to come to Modeles because Deb is such an amazing buyer and because she always has great pieces to show.

Nate Lynch: Deb is great at customer service. The pieces found here are typically high quality and a fraction of what they are new. I've slowly been building my collection of contemporary pieces and been nothing but pleased with selection and service.

Elaine de B: Modele's is THE best consignment store in Seattle. There are two reviews written by people who clearly don't know about high end furniture. Modele's sells the highest quality furniture of any consignment store that I have shopped in, for seemingly less than half of the original price. They have an extremely high standard and have always been exceptional to deal with.

Teresa Mateo: Cool place!

Leah Davidson: Fantastic customer service and whimsical spaces with treasures around every corner.

SUSAN MILLS: Had the cabinets we were looking for and for much less than expected. It's also interesting to see what other items they have.

Heather Shults: branch didn't have enough of what I needed. There was a small parking lot that seemed potentially shared with the other businesses. Had to take a lot of turns to get to the store.I asked for help and one of the workers immediately walked with me to help find what I needed. I'd brought a sample of hardwood from my house so he matched it to the wood and then started picking out enough for the amount of space I had. He was really helpful and made sure I had the exact amount I needed.I didn't get to explore the store since I got there towards closing, but it looked gorgeous - lots of older things and antique things. I feel like I could get lost browsing around.

Becki Witherow: They have great vintage toilets, sinks, and baths

Egirl Kalamanani: Great concept and I really like the name. Been here several times to find treasures to repurpose. I've purchased parts of a chandelier and turned them into garden art. Everything sold here is useful for original purpose, too. They do a really good job organizing even though it's a bit tight getting around. Not a good place for bringing kiddos that can't keep their hands out of things and like to run around.

jason young: This place is fun for old architecture supplies.

craig downing: Eclectic and weird/fun. I live in an older building so this place is super helpful for odd supplies.

Dell O'Malley: Fun place of old parts.Large variety.Few helpful when my car would not start.Great advice that was true.

Madsen Modern Vintage Furniture: what do users think?

Eric Nelson: Madsen Modern is undoubtedly the best mid-century furniture expert in the state. We have been clients of Brandon and Brian for nearly six years. In that time our business with them has included purchase of six pieces of furniture, sale via consignment, furniture repair and restoration. We are lucky enough to be local in Seattle so have had the extraordinary pleasure of seeing their fantastic workshop. Their museum-like space has amazing furniture in all states of renewal. But even more special is working with them both in person. They are the nicest guys you’ll meet. Honest, kind, and helpful. I love hearing them geek out on mid-century furniture! We’ve seen them work magic on teak that looks ruined. They are great at predicting what they can do and to what degree they can fix a piece. Their prices are exceedingly fair. Prices of quality mid-century furniture on many online shops have become eye watering. We’ve been able to get both quality work and a fair price with them. Mid-century furniture holds its value and lasts if you take care of it. We find our purchases from Madsen Modern to be an investment.

Lynette Lewis: I've gotten some beautiful things here and the owners are wonderful to work with.

JM Malinchak: These guys are legit. I want to buy everything they sell.

Wes Luckey: Bryan has been a pleasure to work with

Virginia Chiu: Very kind and responsive staff who have an eye for great pieces. They accommodate your schedule and do not pressure you into buying. I'm super happy with the pieces I purchased and will definitely be following Madsen Modern for future vintage pieces.

Ellen Strenski: Thank you very much. We are very pleased with our purchase and the shipping arrangements. The loveseat arrived in pristine condition and, if anything, looks even better than the original photo.

Jonathan H.: I just worked with Madsen Modern to have two Dux lounge chairs restored. I am overwhelmed at the beautiful job they did. They both had seen significant wear and tear but on getting them back they look as I assume they did 60+ years ago. Brian was easy to communicate with, flexible with my timing and they were done more than a week earlier than I was quoted. I can't recommend them enough.

Michelle Asire: I have been extremely pleased with the experience of working with Brandon and Brian Madsen of Madsen Modern. So positive has been our experience that my husband and I have gone to Madsen for three separate purchases within the past six months. Communications have been prompt, courteous, and thorough. The repair and restoration work is outstanding, resulting in absolutely lovely furniture, without exception. Brandon and Brian were beyond generous with their time and expertise, providing us extensive information regarding upholstery and refinishing options, tools, and techniques. I highly recommend purchasing from Madsen Modern. You won't be disappointed.

Emma Marquez: went completely smoothly. They have a wonderful eye for beautiful items, and take great care in restoration. I especially appreciate Brandon's prompt and detailed responses to all of our queries.

Keith B: We also feel like Madsen repairs and refinishes their furniture in a historically appropriate way. Beautiful! Oh, and the owners are extremely nice and accommodating. We are local, so are able to pick up the furniture vs. shipping it, and have enjoyed our interactions with Brian and Brandon. Their shop is extremely clean and their employees are always busily hand-sanding something while we are there. We look forward to a long buying relationship with this shop.

W Freeman: Had a wonderful experience at Madsen Modern in Seattle, WA while furniture shopping last week. We were met at the door by owner Brandon Madsen then were treated to a tour of this warehouse/workshop full of gorgeous mid century modern furniture. Brandon and his brother Brian were very knowledgeable about their furniture and the refinishing process. We found several pieces for our new town home in Seattle. Wonderful experience!

Aimee O'Carroll: Couldn't have wished for a better experience at Madsen Modern! The owner found me the perfect rocking chair for my apartment and lifestyle - the NY Chair by Takeshi Nii.I will definitely be going back!

SoiledDude: Madsen Modern was a hidden gem. Saw a couch for sale by them, and was smitten. Then we checked out other furniture stores and were floored by the prices. But we kept coming back to Madsen Modern settee. We called and they went out of their to show the piece. We picked it up the next week. Brian helped us package and load the piece. He showed such love for the piece by the way helped wrap it to protected it from the rain. The guys are the real deal. Definitely a shop to check out, you won't go wrong!

John Victor Calabig: We have been on the look out for a clock that will fit our aesthetic and style and we found it here, and it’s reasonably priced.

Jonathan Mathews: FANTASTIC INTERIOR DESIGN SHOWROOM . GREAT UNIQUE HOME DECOR AND FURNISHINGS . FRIENDLY SERVICE . GREAT PLACE FOR GIFTS .

Anthony Ramirez: Great staff, kind, generous, and ready to help you buy that sofa.

Christine estudio luz: I love this place. It’s has a small town feel with friendly owners and staff who are super ready to answer questions. I needed a couch right away-and for not being a huge store I found a great selection. Places like this need to be supported or else we will end up with nothing but Amazon. Shop local! I’m a happy new owner of a gorgeous blue sofa.

Cayla Bevan: I love this place. The staff are amazing and so sweet. They have the coolest rotating selection of stuff, and I always buy birthday presents here. Candles, sunglasses, books, cards, furniture, home goods.

VOSSKALEIGH: i love love LOVE stopping by retrofit to browse what fun items and knick knacks they have in that week! my personal fave have got to be the sonny angels, jellycats and fun stickers they have. absolutely a must to stop by if you’re in the area and see what you can find (:

Adam Litzenberger: They have what you’re looking for.

Nick Totin: Oh. My. Gosh. You must go in this store. Have a look 'round. Buy the cutest thing you see. I saw a water pitcher with a snake wrapped around it and I thought about it for two days. I walked an hour back just to buy it. Everything is beautiful here and the staff is perfect. You can buy so many cute things and put them all in your home. Which is what you deserve.

Joanna C: Super fun shop to wander and explore in. They always have unique and cute stuff. It is very pricey though. But worth the experience even if just to browse

m8te: Retrofit Home is our favorite place on Capitol Hill to shop for unique gifts and quality home goods.

Michelle Zaporojets: Love this place! Bought 2 very reasonably priced pots here when I first moved to Seattle and they’re now my favorite.

อํานาจ สุขนิมิตร: They have a great selection and I looked everywhere.

Holly: Retrofit Home, a unique store located in Capitol Hill, Seattle. Retrofit Home is more than just a furniture store; it’s a mini-department store with a sophisticated, fun, and edgy aesthetic. If you’re in the Capitol Hill area, be sure to check it out! In addition to furniture, you’ll find home goods, kitchen essentials, and unique gift items. The every day books were my favorite collection to browse through. Quirky and funky, Retrofit Home sells lots of items you won’t find anywhere else. While their products aren’t cheap, the quality and uniqueness make up for it. Even their sale items can be fairly expensive, but they’re worth it if you want something special. I told the employee I loved their store and the vibe was so inviting and if I had more time I’d probably buy a lot more! So, if you’re on the hunt for distinctive furniture, home decor, or delightful gifts, consider paying Retrofit Home a visit. It’s a gem in Capitol Hill!

Modern To Vintage Furniture & Design: what do users think?

Aaron Morton: Something went wrong with the previous listing, but this is a great little furniture store that has two very close locations. This location has a wide array of high quality mid-century modern furniture, and used to have a good number of google reviews.

Setting up a time to meet with Heather to shop some of their furniture was so easy and I enjoyed the whole experience. Heather had so many good ideas to make the vision I had for my home come to life. The more furniture you shop, the more discounts you get as you bundle. The final price for all my items were more than fair. Andy delivered my items the next day. Can’t recommend these people enough - they’re just good people!
