Elizabeth Hardy: I was in Seattle and had to visit the flagship store. I also had my favorite salad. The Cilantro Line Chicken Salad in the Cafe is wonderful. It had been a while since I had been in a Nordstrom so it was a nice shopping visit.

I have a wide toe box and have been compensating for that by sizing up at shoe stores. Danelle heat-widened a pair of adorable leather orange sandals for me. She was super quick when grabbing my size options from the back, and communicated with her team when the LAST pair of a shoe in my size was playing hard to get in the stockroom. It was great to see the team members supporting each other when the shop had a steady amount of traffic soon after opening!I ended up getting three new pairs of shoes. I started breaking in a pair yesterday, and my feet are already feeling so much happier! When checking out, Danelle made sure to get my basic info to start tracking by purchase history. She also let me know that after getting 12 full-price items, I get 25% off! After chatting with me at the counter while bagging my shoes and tissue-paper-wrapped dress, Danelle gave me a very warm farewell.I likely would’ve been a repeat customer because of the clothes and shoes, but I will DEFINITELY be returning because of the wonderful experience I had with Danelle and the rest of the Market Street Shoes staff. A big thank you to the whole team for the obvious care that is put in to every aspect of the shop. Cheers!

I mentioned I recently accepted a new job offer and was in need of some more business casual attire, and Sherry asked if I would consider looking at any of the clothing they had in stock. I'll admit I was a bit skeptical- as a plus sized person, a lot of smaller shops and boutiques cater only to more petite or straight sizing. However! I was able to walk out not only with my new shoes, but some very flattering and very nicely fitting tops and sweaters I could wear to the new job. Sherry was super friendly and personable, and it's clear she has a very good knowledge of what the store has in stock and its sizing. Thanks!!

On this trip to Seattle for a cruise, I made sure there was time for another round of Mephisto sandals! Three sandals later I’m a happy lady! Michael is the perfect person representing Mephisto! He’s charismatic, personable, but most importantly knowledgeable in his trade. My sandals will be shipped home without any charges! I used to carry them on my lanyard and/or along with my badge, but it was all getting a lil too heavy.I had a couple employees try to help me although I’m sure my own ambivalence or lack of having any real idea of what kind I wanted discouraged them from going on a treasure hunt with me - not to knock them, they definitely tried to be helpful and were all very nice and professional, it’s me that is the problem, my friends.Well, the stars finally decided to align and I swear they could’ve been wearing a cape - Elijah comes out of the most electric blue and holy moly, the determination of this human. .. I told them I was being cheap and black was the ideal and of course, most coveted of the colors for such an accessory, but this did not hinder their endurance. After a couple of misses, Elijah finds me the most perfect multi-wear waist pack. It had one solid strap which is adjustable in any way imaginable and oh, so minimal and sleek. It was so perfect, I could cry. I didn’t, but I could have.So, to my super hero Elijah, thank you so much for dealing with my indecisive, ADHD brain and helping me walk a way with the Nike Sportswear Rebel Crosdbory in black, of course. I hope you win the lottery!Special shout out to Madelyn for not butchering my name and being a very solid coworker, they reminded me that reviews raving about superb customer service is still a thing! I have shopped in person at Seattle, Vancouver, and Denver and no matter where I am or where the shoes have to travel from, the customer service experience is always amazing!! My phone calls have always been answered with welcome tones and detailed answers! I’ve ordered so many pairs of shoes over the phone and every employee has been cool, knowledgeable, and kind! The culture at Fluevog is the best, and should be an example for any sales experience!!My most recent purchase was over the phone at the Seattle store last week. The Fluevologist helped me pick the correct size based on other shoes I had. The last pair in the country was in Manhattan and that store shipped them fast! I had them in under a week! Thank you so much for all the fantastic service through the years!
Quintin Kreth: The Seattle Fluevog store is one of their best. Fluevogs are excellent, hand-made shoes. Their boots were a big part of the grunge scene. This location is a smaller store, but they have a great selection and extremely helpful staff. I love shopping here whenever I'm in Seattle.

Honestly still kind of emotional.I was looking for a hiking boot for the weekend but came really late. Like 2 minutes before they close late. I was really just browsing and didn’t expect much but a sales rep approached us and took so much time and care measuring my feet, giving me hiking socks to try, and letting me try some shoes. In the end it took about 15 minutes, but I just felt so appreciative. Honestly this is what makes REI the best. If the rep ever sees this, it’s a dude, thank you again!!

Gurjot Tur: This is on my way to work, and I stopped by because recently, I had developed pain walking to work on concrete pavement. Mike was awesome on analyzing the impact on my current insole, looking at my current shoes and how I stood, to make a recommendation which I hope will deliver results for the long term. He gave me a 15% discount and offered to tweak the insole in a week if needed. Ah, mom-n-pop stores!

Mike was very knowledgeable and quickly got me shoes that fit well and were my style. I'll be making sure to give them my business even though I'm not from around here. My feet, knees, and back have never felt better so fast just from a great fitting pair of shoes. For reference I'm 385 pounds so a good pair of shoes does a lot for me. Tyler Paulson: fall apart from the sole on my way to an event, and Romax just happened to have a pair that fit my style, price range and level of casual footwear when I needed replacements asap. Romax is the only store where the associate was knowledgeable about shoe/foot health and the selection offered some stylish options! I always struggle with the compromise between comfy but geriatric looking or stylish but painful. I will definitely be returning to Romax. Even my dad found shoes that he likes for his difficult and damaged feet!

Emily Senchyna: It's about what you'd expect from an upscale shoe store. Expensive shoes but you get what you pay for - quality shoes and good service. My friend bought shoes here and seemed to have good service from those helping her but never felt pressured to buy things. Cute little shop in University village.

Jae Lee: I made like 4 returns/exchanges because I’m pretty indecisive and never shopped at Aldo before and they were super friendly. Unlike the one in Tacoma mall, they returned my unworn shoes without nitpicking the state of the brand new shoes. They also carry more sizes at the store compared to the one in Tacoma. If they don’t carry a certain size they will help you order them to your house so you get your shoes without having to pay the shipping fee. They never really brought that up at the Tacoma location. Michelle was such a sweetheart and she helped me with so much patience.
