Silvana is skilled in teaching the kids and we could not believe the delicious food that came home to us every evening. The quality of the food and the number of dishes/desserts the kids made each day was amazing. My daughter learned a lot and had a wonderful time.

They made 3 lovely and creative birthday cakes that our family are enjoying very much. Silvana has a profesional attitude and a way with children. The kiddos had a great time swinging on the zipline in the backyard, whacking the pinata with a rolling pin, and learning how to make truffles. They were excited to bring home the fruits of their labor: absolutely gorgeous truffles. The birthday cake was incredibly delicious. And also, Silvana was able to accommodate some pretty challenging food allergies. We will absolutely have a party with Silvana again!!

Beth: If you are looking for a cake for someone special or just yourself, I recommend you try Morfeys. I have purchased from a handful of other shops in Seattle over the last 5 years and so far, Morfeys Cakes is my favorite. I wanted to surprise my fiancé for his birthday with a white confetti cake that reminded him of his childhood and this cake was so cute. The buttercream was smooth and delicious, without any strong sugary aftertaste. The raspberry buttercream filling was my favorite it was sweet and just a little tart. After we opened the cake, I placed it in a cake container and two days later the cake was still moist and the buttercream tasted fresh. Erin, was just as sweet as the cakes she bakes and was super accommodating. I highly recommend!

Destinee Sanders: Stopped in to check out what Morfey’s had to offer and tried this absolutely delightful melt in your mouth almond citrus cupcake. Took a look at the cakes and they were works of art. You definitely need to call ahead or go online for like wedding cakes, birthday cakes or other celebrations. If you are passing by like we were stop in for a cupcake you wont be disappointed.

Indranee Saha: Delightful cake store! Marina is a skilled baker and her cakes taste as good as they look. I ordered a set of mini chocolate cream cupcakes and a chocolate mousse cake for a birthday event and both were smash hits with our guests. The mirror glaze work is incredibly beautiful, and the mousse melts in your mouth. Marina was prompt with her suggestions and replies and placing orders to picking them up were hassle-free. Will be returning back!

We went with lavender haze and chocolate decadence. Lavender haze was a perfect light flavor and chocolate decadence was so rich and moist. The cake bites were the perfect size for everyone to try both flavors and not leave half of a piece of cake left uneaten on their plate. We loved their cake.

We tasted a wide range of innovative flavor combinations, and easily found something that we both loved. She was also able to accommodate dietary restrictions – making a small gluten-free, dairy-free cake to go along with the primary cake. She worked with us to keep us on budget and delivered a stunning and delicious cake. We kept the top for ourselves and enjoyed it during our honeymoon and we fully intend to order a small cake to celebrate our anniversary!

Anyways it was a Poppyseed cake with strawberry jam. It was incredible! I only wish you sold slices. The frosting itself was just a bit too sweet for my taste. I like very little sugar, but everything else was incredible.

How could you possibly make such fabulous cakes over and over again without a little bit of magic? My husband and I ordered a cake tasting box with six of her custom and unique flavors, and you know it’s a good problem to have when you struggle to choose just one. In the end, we went with one of her micro wedding cakes in the espresso pecan crunch flavor, which was so flavorful and fluffy with delicious crunchy pecan bites. We also asked her to add sugar flowers that matched our wedding flowers. It was definitely worth it. Her flowers added a beautiful custom touch that tied our dessert table into the rest of the wedding.We will absolutely be ordering an anniversary cake when the time comes. With Carla's guidance we chose a "micro wedding" cake to serve our 30 guests and not one bite was left over -- only the gorgeous sugar flowers! Mary Lee: One of the biggest worries during wedding planning was the food we would serve our guests. Blue Ribbon really stepped up to the plate and delivered some of the best wedding foods, as said by our guests! Planning with Kelsey was a pleasure - she was always so attentive and responsive to all questions and it was just so reassuring to have her on our awesome vendor team. Our complimentary tasting was a great experience, and Kelsey took careful note of our preferences that were perfectly executed on the big day. I wasn't able to get to the desserts they provided, but our guests thoroughly enjoyed them as well. My husband and I love their lavender lemonade!
Adam Hendricks: so I don't consider a few paper towels being on the floor a problem. The only thing I might change would be that my team would have liked to know the exact amount of time we had available prior to our arrival so that we could choose a dish that can be properly prepared in that amount of time or less. All in all it was a very unique and enjoyable experience and I would definitely do it again if the opportunity presented itself.

Maria Foster: My team did an Iron Chef competition w/Pike Place shopping event with Blue Ribbon Cooking and it was amazing! The team had a great time and was still raving about it days later. I've been setting up events for Google for 6+ years and this is the best reaction I've ever had at any of my events. The staff was so kind, organized and fun to work with. Everyone loved the aprons Blue Ribbon had embroidered for us and I can say from start to finish, we had a great time.

Mary Gilmore: I am a picky home baker/chocolate cake enthusiast and i was impressed. They sell out quickly though! Get there early! I got there 4 minutes after they opened and there was already a significant line.The only problem i have is their rotating menu is fun but apparently somewhat unpredictable - i really only came for the april seasonal coconut cake and they ended up not having it. Also these are obviously hand made and with high quality ingredients but paying 10-11 bucks for a single slice of cake that tastes like something I could make at home gives me a touch of sad. I still will tho, chocolate cures the sad.
Katie Reinsvold: We happened upon the shop by accident. Oh my gosh! Where have they been my whole life? We bought three slices, Salted Caramel, Cookies and Cream, and the Vanilla Bean Custard. They were all equally delicious and unique. The gentleman helping us was very informative and it was a very friendly atmosphere. It's a good thing we live in Lacey because I would be there every week if I lived in Seattle. They have quickly become our special occasion splurge. We will eventually try the whole menu I'm quite sure. We are very lucky to have found this gem. I think about going back all the time.

We loved both, but the banana one maybe a tad bit more! The cake slices are generous and around $10 each. The space is clean and inviting, if not a bit basic, but that's the aesthetic of Georgetown in general I think. Will be back!

You would never find one with powdered sugar in Paris.The frosting on the eclair was great, but I’d actually like to see a little bit thicker, more airy layer of pastry.The parking in the neighborhood is definitely tricky. Make no mistake, if you live nearby, you should indeed go here. The food is good, and the people are lovely. Suman Grewal: The incredibly bad news is I found out that Rosellini's has a deliciously moist decadent chocolate cake that I can get by the slice. I can't think of another place I've tried that is on par or better. So now I run the risk of getting this any time I experience the slightest life hiccup where I justify getting myself a little treat. It's going to be a problem.Also, the morning bun is always a yummy choice. Cinnamon sugar with a bit of orange zest. This place is delightful.

Diane has such a warm and inviting presence, and is also a wealth of knowledge with regards to food and food production. As residents of Seattle, she really gave us an education about the abundant produce and protein that are available in the PNW. I wish more people knew about her classes because she presents an experience that is 'so Seattle', and she makes food both interesting and approachable. I cannot wait to take another class with Diane, I highly recommend her business - experiences like these are few and far between these days, and I am so happy that she exists!

She even fed me all the dishes we made! She will not only teach how you to cook, but she will also tell you where to get the best ingredients which is also important. Her classes are good for people of all levels, even for donkeys that can't cook like myself! Diane is friendly, energetic, charismatic and has a strong passion for food and cooking. Strongly recommend her. If you got a date or a foodie friend, this is the place to go.

We had some scheduling complications on our side and she was super flexible with the pickup timing.The carrot cake was delicious. The frosting was a Swiss Meringue Buttercream and was the perfect amount of sweet. It wasn't too thick and really added to the cake rather than burrying it.The 6" was a good size for a group of 8 adults and we only ate about half of it so there was plenty for leftovers.
