J-Bro's Gluten-Free Market: what do users think?

Lynne Startup: Nice selection

Fen V.: I'm so grateful for this place! My partner is gluten free and it's so nice to be able to shop somewhere that I know everything is going to work for her! Great selection too!

Lucera Cox: The Gluten Free market is awesome! Im so glad we finally gave it a try- great shopping without limitations, and they have some yummy looking options for prepared meals and desserts that would be great for ensuring gluten free friends and family have good options at gatherings/ parties etc.

Vanessa Becker: My sister with Celiacs was very excited to find this store, we happened to be in the area. There was a ton of gluten free items that are very hard to come by in Canada so she was able to stock up. The pricing for any gluten free food is, unfortunately, always going to be a little more than regular but it was comparable to other specialty stores I've been to.Staff was friendly and there was a bathroom to use.

K O’Brian: Lovely store that's 100% gluten-free. Owners are nice. Think it's interesting folks are complaining the store is more expensive than the chains. Any store that's not a chain is going to be more expensive. I think the price differential is minor and personally I don't mind paying fair prices for access to safe food and supporting a small local business at same time.

Zoe: With someone who is gluten free in our family it is very nice to have a place that we don't have to look at the labels to know if it's gluten free and prices are reasonable.

Erika McMahon: I’ve been going here for years and it’s so nice to be able to walk into a store and not have to read every label. I’m not sure why several people took one star off because the prices are higher than chain stores. The larger stores can source a much better wholesale price because of the quantity that they are purchasing. It’s to be expected when choosing to support a small business. Great selection of specialty items like pies and local breads.

Katie Berryman: Tons of gluten free/ celiac friendly foods and beverages. Friendly owners. Found things I haven't seen gluten free ever like puff pastry and ive been gf for 15+ years now!! I mean..heck yea!!!Come check them out. They just moved to this location but it's easy on/off 405. Tucked right next tot the bamboo garden. So stoked they are in the area and I have a name space to shop freely.

Caroline Timmins: This store has EVERYTHING you could want if you need GF. It's so nice to feel "safe" in a store and able to find all my favorite treats. The owner is very kind.

Chandra Allen: loved using the little shopping basket.

Athena Xanthos: and tons of new goodies too!

Maria McNamee: Fabulous selection! If you are looking for premade gluten free treats for the holidays or for mixes to help make your own this is a great place to find those! Kind staff, good hours, enjoyable atmosphere.💖

Andrea L: Great customer service. Thank you for selling allergy friendly foods.

Nuflours Bakery: what do users think?

Ty Hen: Found on Alaska mileage plan, and decided to indulge my pastry tooth after seeing they had lemon bars. Bars were decent(crust was a bit undercooked; crumbly and bland, not buttery or flaky. Lemon vanilla donut was soft and tasty, just a tad pricey for the size. Were out of a bunch of drinks on the menu, or didn't have them. The girl working wasn't clear. She wasn't unpleasant. She was very polite, just seemed distracted and a little perturbed, like something had occurred earlier and she wanted to get home. Clean establishment, but the decor wasn't welcoming. I may or may not be back.

mayanthia: Fantastic gluten free bakery! I really enjoy their lemon vanilla donut and the chocolate eclair. My teenager loves the peppermint brownies and the salter caramel brownies. My husband strongly recommends the cinnamon roll. Seriously, go repeatedly and just try everything. You won't be disappointed.Dietary restrictions: Good options for gluten free and vegan. Everything is well labeled.

Myles Caddell: One of the best spots in Seattle for Celiac's. A dedicated gluten free bakery. We loved their savory hand pies and quiches, their cinnamon rolls and donuts, their entire menu without having to hunt for asterisks on what parts of the menu were safe. It's all safe, and it's spectacular.Dietary restrictions: Celiac/Gluten Free

Adam M: Gluten free or not this place is delicious! Order now!Food: 5/5 …

Missy: Just grabbed some food items for the first time here and have to say I’m pretty impressed. I have celiacs disease and I can’t trust any place that’s not dedicated gluten free, but also finding a place that has good tasting gf foods is challenging. The hand pies are delicious, the tiramisu is great, and looking forwards to the white cake tonight.

R. L. Stroud: Good news: The food is great! I had the brownie, it's more cake-like than traditional gooey stuff, but I didn't taste or see any salted caramel, it was a Sunday--maybe they ran out. Everyone thought the food ranged from B+ to A+.The so-so news: All 3 of us ordered espresso drinks. We were told straight up it was a latte or nothing. My husband asked about a double shot straight and the barista said, fine. It was a pretty slow Sunday, we must have waited 10 to 15 minutes for 2 double shot lattes which were meh. Also, it looks like they just opened, which isn't true at all. They had 3 chairs & 3 little tables inside, when they clearly could have had double that inside, and there were 2 tables outside with a few more seats. I'm sure the excuse is well--COVID, but they could do better. But double thumbs up for take away!Dietary restrictions: This is a great find if you know someone with celiac disease. It's so great just to them finally relax and enjoy themselves because there's no gluten!Parking: If you know the area, 15th near the hospital, parking's tight, but we have a disabled parking pass, and there's a spot a block or so away for vehicles with disabled permit holders. Not fantastic, but it's Capitol Hill.

Bicky Nguyen: Amazing hand pies! Delicious baguettes, donuts were pretty good but a little on the sweet side. Highly recommend it!! The staff member was very friendly, talkative and informative. He recommended an amazing cafe for us, as they only serve drip, coffee and espresso. Lots of great recommendations to go to. Will definitely return if I'm ever back in Seattle! Thanks for making my visit AWESOME!!!

Sherly Herrera: The cutest vegan ice cream shop. I’ve been here a few times and have always enjoyed what I’ve gotten. I recently stopped by and tried the carrot cake and strawberry mylk flavors. Both were delicious but I would definitely order the strawberry mylk flavor again. The staff is lovely and interior is very cute. The only con is prices are on the higher side but ingredients and quality are important!Vegetarian options: All vegan ice cream shop

Chintan Panchamia: The best vegan ice cream, I’ve ever had.Pro-tips:1. pair simpler flavors with moon goo.2. always add cone shatter to your ice cream.

Gretchen DeVuyst: Sent this as a rec to a friend visiting Seattle and realized I hadn’t left a review. This place is soooo delicious!

Miriam Chappelka: then frankie & jo’s will leave you delighted and mystified. How is their ice cream so good? Enigmatic ingredients like “adaptogens” and “activated charcoal” may confound you, but the shop is very generous with free samples and you will quickly find a favorite flavor. This is ice cream that will make your skeptical dad say “I can tell it tastes different but I wouldn’t have guessed it’s vegan”

Sarah Brunelle: worked with us to assemble an alternate bundle of delicious GF and vegan treats from the Bellevue location. He helped us sort through the mix-up and went above and beyond to help the event go off without a hitch. We are so thankful for his kindness and incredible customer service so we could still serve GF goodies to our guests!

P Jg: My family is thrilled to have access to these lovely and tastey foods. Lot of good ratings. Although I am sad a couple people are posting negative in regard to vegan options. Please do not ruin it for those of us looking for gluten free; vegan is nice too but let's think about the health of a business. Let's encourage them to add back more vegan/plant-based selections, without the damaging posts. You okay with this??? I love their foods, but definitely we will encourage vegan/plant based additions to accommodate our environmental/ethical convictions.Kid-friendliness: They always provide me with a reason to smile.

Pamela Goff: GLUTEN free that tastes even better than traditional baked goods - WOW! Celiac's are thrilled and no longer left out. Now from the standpoint of a non-celiac; in my household we have no gluten due to my partner suffering from Celiac Disease. Now I can bring into our abode lovely baked goods. Gotta call out your GF/vegan cider donuts. Undeniably scrumptious! Thank you so much.

Peter N: Amazing GFV donuts. Best in the PNWDietary restrictions: GFV donuts, cookies and crumblesRecommendation for vegetarians Highly recommend …

Lakeisha Finney: The pricing is great. Not a lot of breakfast food options. The staff was super pleasant and inviting.

Zoey Peralta: Yummy yummy

mmorale7: I got a gluten-free cake and some other products. Phenomenal service and quality of food, I wish more companies would operate like Flying Apron.

Kawthar Bakhach: Got a delicious 9 inch gluten free dairy free cake here for my sisters engagement . Absolutely scrumptious everyone loved it the Costco sheet cake was not touched lol. It was vanilla with lemon frosting and raspberry filling - soo moist and tasty and beautiful frosting

Vardah Malik: !

Howard Cohen: The sales person at today’s University District Farmer’s Market was wonderful! He knew the products and had great pride. I bought the apple, ginger, cinnamon pie for my dinner with friends tomorrow. I hope to see him again.Howard

Courtney Cheng: I ordered a custom cake from Askatu, and they went above and beyond to make sure my nuanced dietary needs were all met. We exchanged several phone calls to finalize ingredient lists and flavor details, and they even further customized it when they realized I had a preference for one ingredient/flavor over another. The cake was delicious even with all the substitutes I had to make. As a baker myself, I felt very pleased and satisfied with the cake Askatu made for me. Will definitely come back for another cake in the future.

Gavin Ayling: Friendly service, 100% gluten free, wide selection, and a cute homemade atmosphere.Dietary restrictions: All top nine allergens are not in the store. No milk, as a result, makes it all vegan, except the meaty breakfast sandwiches.

Maurice Gonzalez II: Absolutely delicious baked goods - and GLUTEN FREE! Taste and texture are not sacrificed in order to make their food gluten free it really is just that good. I’m visiting from Atlanta ga and wish we had something this good there. Wouldn’t strongly recommend to anyone looking for delicious baked goods - whether in need of gluten free foods or not. Also, staff is very welcoming and personable. Made my time in Seattle that much better.

Heather Foisie: We stopped by to see what they were all about and I'm so glad we did. All of their goods are beautifully crafted and I love the variety of creative flavors. I think my absolute favorites are their tea cakes. The citrus cardamom was out of this world incredible. They're also the kindest, most welcoming shop I think I've ever been to in downtown Seattle. We'll definitely be back!

LeRoux Matau: My new favorite place in Seattle. An actually allergen free bakery. I’m very allergic to dairy and sensitive to wheat so it’s a godsend to find tasty baked goods I can enjoy. I love coming here to try whatever new treat they’ve crafted. The different cookies, donuts, hand pies, and truffles I’ve tried have all been delicious. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. Brightens my day every time I go in. They also have sandwiches which I haven’t tried but look tasty.Vegetarian options: Loads of vegan or vegetarian options.Dietary restrictions: Allergen free bakery!!!Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs to enter. A little cramped but otherwise movable.

Lauren Nelson: Wonderful bakery with amazing baked goods. They taste the same if not better than items with gluten. Jay, the owner, is such a cheerful and patient human. He always has a smile, loves what he does, and seriously tries to please everyone. He has something for everyone with the exception of gluten. I love that he has products for people with eggs, some vegan etc. Jay is conscious and aware of the products used. He takes great care with all products and ensures no cross contamination. He makes it safe again for people with celiac. Myself and my clients love your bakery. Jay, I support your cause and your business 💯. Keep bringing goodness to the world. Please keep making the Flying apron cookies!!

Liz O'Dea: , Lemon bread, cookies, cinnamon rolls, cookies, pie crusts, and more. I’m so happy I found the bakery. Spread the word and help them keep going!I’m not able to eat some GF flours that are in the grass family and most of it is safe for me. Yay.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free, grass free

kristin meyer: Yall this place is not cheap. All GF foods are expensive, however. And honestly, worth every penny. The only thing I wish is that they had more single serve items. I would have bought one of everything if they came in smaller ammounts.Vegetarian options: A number of good vegan options, including donuts and bars.Dietary restrictions: Lots of gluten free and vegan.

Jessica Gombasy: WOW. Seriously. Fantastic. Amazing food, even as someone freshly gluten free. The cinnamon rolls were absolutely fantastic as all the reviews say, but THE RED VELVET CUPCAKES. Seriously! So good! And the biscotti are fantastic!Dietary restrictions: AMAZING for dietary restrictions. Clearly they are gluten free, but they have tons of dairy free, vegan, raw vegan, and low/no sugar options. Seriously a dream when it comes to options!Parking: The store front doesn’t stick out, but there is plenty of parking in the strip mall. Small-ish spots for big carsKid-friendliness: Not the most kid friendly spot, but definitely not bad for kids! Had my 3 year old and did need to remind her that there was no touching, but not bad for a quick stop.

j spain Greene: Large selection of gluten free baked goods. I loved the guy that helped me - he was fun to talk to and gave me good recommendations. My family preferred the bars - pumpkin pie squares and apple crumble - to the chocolate cake we also got. They didn't care for the taste. It was well decorated, though, and I will definitely come again to pick up treats for my gluten free friends.

Grant Helbley: Excellent friendly service and delicious cake doughnuts. They had a good spongy texture and weren’t sticky, gummy, or dry like some gf doughnuts. I especially liked the rich flavor of the chocolate doughnuts. The bread is beautiful, well risen, and soft. We got the mini baguettes and I can’t wait to try them with dinner

Buck R: This is a retail bakery not a place to stop for snacks. The sourdough bread the biscuits the cinnamon rolls the bagels everything is fantastic. Navideo Is a delight at the counter.Vegetarian options: Much of the food is vegan.

Hangry Panda: Gluten Free Fried Chicken, Teriyaki & Bubble Tea: what do users think?

Hangry Panda!

Dedicated gluten free fryer!

Valerie Spirakis: Dietary restrictions: Clearly marked and many gluten-free options

Chelsea Kramer: We LOVE this local spot. We order hangry panda 🐼 once a week. Like someone else said, I’ve spent a small fortune here and it’s 100% worth it. Delicious food, nice people, and great small business. Keep being awesome hangry. 💙🙌🏼Dietary restrictions: Gluten

Prateek Sharma: Food: 4/5

ocean vast naturebeing: and when I brought it up they were willing to have a conversation about it, though unwilling to honor the online stated price. overall highly recommended 🥣🍟🥛🍗Dietary restrictions: yay gluten free!

Jackie Batterman:

Thomas Jacka: Great food and drinks. Suggest ringing prior to pickup to confirm your order has been received if ordering online.

Denebola: The service was fast and friendly, the food was plentiful/delicious/nutritious, and dining-in was warm and clean. Thanks for answering our allergen questions as well as providing plant based nuwtrients.Vegetarian options: 100% Plant Based

Stephanie Kardos: My go to place for healthy food! Try the Buddha Bowl. This place is a Seattle staple

Logan Koski: Amazing food, amazing service! Ans very high quality ingredients, best super food joint I’ve ever been to! Hands down well done

Aline Vida: Delicious juice and incredible vegan desserts!

Tim Holland: Seattle has a dearth of vegan salad options with interesting complex flavors, but HeartBeet is a healthy oasis in this salad desert. It's one of the few places I feel compelled to tell people about because it stands out among the rest.

Dustin Gunnells: and the superfood salad is an absolute must. Stop by and give them a try!Recommended dishes …

Cassidy Davis: In addition to delicious food that caters to my dietary restrictions, I had an absolutely delightful experience at the Queen Anne location on Thursday of this week. Nicole and Ellen were very professional, helpful and personable. Thanks to their customer service I will certainly be back and will recommend this location to friends and family. Hats off to this company for prioritizing customer service done right!

E.R. Perez: Upon entering, no one said hello or good morning... just nothing . Good thing I had my glasses on to see that you ordered from a kiosk. I put my order in and showed my husband how it works he wasn't as happy to try something new, the kiosk or a sandwich. Order didnt take too long we parked in the load and unload area Once we got our order I could smell it through the bag , Hubs wasn't sure said he didn't like that "type" of bread but literally after one bite he was in heaven he raved and raved about the bread being so soft , the egg so so perfect and said he would definitely pick this spot for a breakfast sandwich again. I had the bacon , turkey lettuce, and avocado, and it was scrumptious. I don't mind using the kiosk, but I can guarantee had my husband been by himself he would of walked out without that sandwich and it would of been because he was not acknowledge upon entering as a guest and was not given instructions on how to use the kiosk. Now that he knows he may return ..I'm not sure how many times without hearing a hello or good morning or some kind of thanks for deciding to spend his $$ at the establishment

Isabela Velasquez: Nice lunch spot with plenty of vegan/GF options. I got a GF pesto chicken sandwich. Even though it was lunchtime, I only waited about 5 mins. The sandwich was still warm about 5-10 mins later when I had a chance to eat it and it was really good! It was a little expensive but that seems to be a theme for Seattle.Dietary restrictions: GF/vegetarian/vegan

Salt and Sugar Cafe and Bakery: what do users think?

Charlotte Ohlin: Salt and Sugar is a neighborhood staple. It is so convent to get to as well as order from. The service is always timely and friendly. it is my go to for a quick easy morning to grab breakfast and lunch all for around $20. I tried the labneh bagel this morning for the first time with scrambled eggs, it was so fluffy and delicious, I will be ordering again!

Aplih A: Stopped by while running errands in the area and found this cafe very intriguing. Tried one of their pastries and loved it. Will go again to try other items and coffee! Staff was very welcoming and friendly explaining each of their baked goods.Vegetarian options: Clearly labeled vegetarian options availableDietary restrictions: Vegan and vegetarian options availableParking: Street parking available but can be tricky since it’s a busy neighborhoodKid-friendliness: Many options for kidsWheelchair accessibility: ♿️ Accessible

Elizabeth Horton: for sale!

Ju: This place is never too busy which is great because it’s hard to get a weekend table at any diner in Ballard. I’ve been here a couple times now, getting the scone frittata, which I really enjoyed and the hazelnut waffle and a drip which was amazing. I got that with fresh fruit on the side and the only complaint I have is the blueberries were clearly previously frozen which I’d rather have omitted tbh. They do 1 free drip refill per visit which is awesome and they’re cool with dogs 🐶 overall a chill vibe and the staff is friendly, would recommend.

They advertised a great assortment without all the limitations we normally have for one family member. It wasn't the best food overall, but the person who had gluten-free was very happy. That's worth it!Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free can be so limited. They said the gluten-free is prepared in its own kitchen space and offered a lot of choices.

Sadyztic1: Great food...awesome find for vacation!

SARINA BADRASA: A beautiful space for date or going out with friends or colleagues. Their pizza is definitely better than most places but it's 4.5 for me, the crust is not the best and I would love more cheese, but I really appreciate the large section of vegetarian options as a veggie pizza lover. Staff were great and friendly but seemed like they're short on staff and the table we sat on was not cleaned but the guy who brought our food cleaned it. I will come back🙏❤️

jim steeves: Good place great food. Whole family enjoyed their meals.

Ashutosh Karan: Recommended dishes Pizza Recommendation for vegetarians Highly recommend Vegetarian offerings Large vegetarian selection Parking options Free parking lot …

Derek: Tons of options for my GF dad, including drinks. Was really good and staff were real nice.Recommended dishes Pizza …

Central Co-op: what do users think?

Clayton Turner: This place is so cool, hit the deli!

sanchit gupta: a little expensive for everything organic. I got a few things like raw milk and glass jar toothpaste. will follow up for in-depth review. but this place definitely has all the right vibes

Joe Chodykin: Heathy food, grass roots feel, quality foods of all kinds. Excellent service. This is my favorite grocery store.

Vinicio Viquez: Cute little plants.

James: Great selection of ethical goods! Thanks central!

Alex Wolf: I expected to pay more for higher-quality produce. Instead I paid more for similar-quality produce. If the Co-Op's policies on sustainably, sourcing local, and paying farmers fairly are true then that's great and a reason to shop here, but besides the societal impact of those policies it's just an overpriced grocery store.

rion herzog (Sirherzog): Good food

JD Bad-Elk: Central Co-op is a great place to shop. The employees are very friendly and helpful. It has a great environment and good prices. It's a go to location for groceries.

Macrina Bakery & Cafe: what do users think?

Kristi: First time here. Th staff was very helpful and knowledgeable about the menu. Ordered a mocha and a chai tea. Both were a good temperature. Not scalding and not to cold. Our snack to go with the coffee was a raspberry bar, and an almond cranberry biscotti. I loved them both! Biscotti was big too! For the meal we had quiche. The temperature could’ve been warmer. A little too cold for my liking. This was the first time I had a quiche with a crust I liked. I have never liked the crust until trying theirs. Loved the flaky light layers of crust. It was perfect for this creamy cheesy quiche. Atmosphere was nice and clean. I’ll keep it in mind to come back again some time.

Cafe Yumm! - 7th & Pine: what do users think?

Divy Vasal: Casual eatery that serves bowls, soups and wraps. The dishes could be customized to make them vegetarian friendly or plant based. Ordered a Large Smoky Bowl for lunch. As mentioned in other reviews, the portions are indeed small but the ingredients seemed fresh and healthy. Wasn't a filling meal which wasn't what I was expecting given that it was supposed to be a large bowl. There's indoor as well as outdoor seating and the staff is courteous.
