Caralyn Valdeman: I had contacted another propane supplier prior to Blue Star after we purchased a commercial building. The other company took about five weeks to get back to me. After about the third week of waiting, I reached out to Blue Star. They were immediately responsive and had the salesperson out to see me within a few days. They had us filled up and a credit account approved within a week of us first making contact with us. I can't stop singing their praise! Thanks for everything, Blue Star!

Paul Tarailo: Working in the fireplace industry, I have dealt with nearly every propane supplier in the area. When I bought my home last year that already had an existing tank from another supplier, I stayed with them only to be treated poorly, over-charged, and without heat TWICE while on "auto-refill."After speaking with several customer's, Blue Star was brought up several times as a name they were happy with. I contacted them when I was down to 10% and they came out within a week to swap the tank then within hours, another driver came out to fill it. The BEST PART... the tank has its own signal that reports our fuel status back to their office. This may seem like a small feature but I can see how it will reduce my service charges by only filling the tank when it is needed. Not to mention I wont ever have to worry about an angry wife due to cold water or no heat again. Now only if they could figure out a way to make sure she isn't mad about everything else.Thanks again guys! Great experience! Cant wait to recommend you.

Mitch came out to see where the plug was which water coming up thru aerorater hose from dishwasher to up on my counters. Found the issue from another competers work when they put in my garbage disposal, fixed those and cleaned out my very dirty disposal. I will definitely call them for any plumbing work. I asked him to take a look at the faulty hose bib Gj installed last year and, after explaining his bibs weren't in his venue, he got right to work under the kitchen sink. He showed me the price of the repair, I signed off, and Dylan got right to work. While I ran some errands, Dylan installed a new garbage disposal and attended to other business under the sink. I felt perfectly comfortable leaving him to finish up on his own, and sure enough, he did and left the site tidy and ready for me to move my stuff back in. This guy has more energy in problem solving than Mr. Wriggles McGiggles, our 10-year-old papillon, on fetch day. Problems getting through to dispatch, Chad takes care of it. Need a quote, Chad. I’m not entirely sure anyone else works here as Chad does it all. I am currently looking for more plumbing projects for this guy because he is one of the most enjoyable people to have in the house, I have two teenagers… Kidding aside, he is on a win streak for exceeding expectations, and I always know where I stand and what my options are. I feel no shame in selecting an option and am well educated on the path forward. Are they the cheapest? I have no idea, it is worth it to me to have quality craftsmanship and materials because I know I am not going to have to worry about it for many many years, if at all. I couldn’t recommend Chad Hendrix any more. April 23rd will always be known as Hose Bibb Replacement Day, and I will smile while watering my plants.

Charles Hedberg: Tom at Washington Water Heaters was great to work with. He showed up quickly and on time to look at the job, got us a quote quickly, got us scheduled for the water heater replacement quickly, and showed up on time again for the install. Then, he quickly replaced our old tank water heater with a tankless unit and did a really nice job. Final price was exactly as quoted and within the price range I expected for the job, which was several thousand less than a quote I got from one of the national chain places. Tom is a nice guy, too, and didn't mind that I was hanging around and watching. Love our new Navien tankless water heater so far. Highly recommended.
Patti Hill: Got a few bids to replace our old tankless water heater. Called Washington water heater and the owner came to see our system. His bid was $1500 less than the others. When they came to do the work, the next day, they found that there wasn't a need for a certain part. So when it was all done it was another $300 less. They were quick, professional and very nice people. I would refer them to anyone. Work was fantastic.

Tom spent the most time working with me and I found him not only professional and courteous, but also generous with his time, really making an effort to understand the nature of my request. Ultimately, after a service call to take a gas pressure reading, Tom helped me understand I didn't need to make any changes to our line. While this wasn't a large job, I certainly felt that Tom and Washington Water Heaters are a knowledgeable and customer service-oriented company I'd be happy to work with again.

Rick Xu: They helped me replaced the main shutoff valve. The wall needed to be opened, but after the wall was opened, there was no place to cut it. They had to open another side of the wall, cut and replace 3 of the connections out of the main pipe to take out the main pipe, which took 1 hour longer and $200 higher.I deducted one star because their estimate should be more accurate and I expected no additional charges at all. I get it is behind the wall, but no one mentioned that it could be higher in the estimate.

Enes was wonderful - he cleaned my fireplace, fixed the problem, and stayed to make sure everything was working properly - and was done within the hour. I'd recommend them to anyone!

He did a great job replacing the broken parts, cleaned the whole unit, and do a through testing to make sure everything was functionating correctly.I've since referred Seattle Fireplace to friends and they experienced the same quality work. When he got back to the office he was able to set us up with a detailed quote, item by item and it was only a couple hundred dollars more than what he loosely quoted- I wanted a remote and that was why. I wouldn’t have held him to the loose quote but he was pretty spot on! They were booked out 7 weeks for install but we figured it was worth the wait and we had time. Once we accepted the quote a day after quote was delivered to us January 14th, they booked us for March 2nd and that’s exactly when they showed up! A crew of 2 arrived right on time, were very knowledgeable, professional, answered our questions and got started right away. They were able to run the gas line in under 2 hours which we figured would be the case since the gas meter is only 10 feet from where it was going into our fireplace. So we were only without gas to our house for a short time, not the whole day as quoted by the other company we talked to. They were tidy, communicative put everything they moved back in place, the gas line is totally inconspicuous and helped us move the furniture I moved out of their way inside back into place. I painted the inside of our fireplace with high heat black paint to clean things up in advance and a little got peeled off during the running of the line, they fixed it right up and had paint with them! It’s the most perfect set up, the logs fit perfectly, it looks WAY better than it did when it was a wood burning fireplace and it’s so easy to turn on for ambiance! We’re kicking ourselves that we didn’t do it sooner! Now I want to paint our ugly outer brick fireplace, something I couldn’t do before because of all the soot and smoke the wood burning created. My husband wasn’t totally on board with this project and in the end he’s happier than me about it all! They stayed in budget, delivered exactly what they said they would and installed right when they said they would! It was a wait that was TOTALLY worth it!

Garry Lund: Seattle Fireplace installed a new gas fireplace insert in my home two years ago, when it suddenly stopped working I called and they responded quickly. As it turned out, there is a "receiver" for my remote control located behind the insert's surround that needed new batteries. They showed me where it is located and replaced the batteries all at no charge and it's working fine now. In fairness, I think they mentioned I would need to replace the "receiver" batteries when they initially installed my insert, but I forgot all about it, now I know how to replace the batteries myself. Thanks again for the prompt service.
Keegan Johnson: We called Seattle Fireplace to repair our gas fireplace. The technician, Enes, was able to fix and clean the fireplace in under an hour! He did an amazing job and gave great advice to maintain the fireplace going forward. We got a quote from another fireplace company prior to working with Seattle Fireplace who quoted us for several days work and 20x the price, which we found out was unnecessary from Enes. We completely trust Seattle Fireplace and would recommend them to others needing an honest assessment of their fireplace.
