Mercer Court: what do users think?

L Sequeira: UW Seattle campus - Beautiful campus, beautiful layout, architecture and greenery.

Artun Duman: Pretty but pricey

Ian Fink: you'll have the convenience of campus housing paired with actual privacy and a usable kitchen you can't find in the dorms. The issue is the price. UW prices their housing not as it should, as tax-subsidized affordable student housing, but as above-market-rate shared apartments. If you were to share a modest apartment with a roommate elsewhere in udistrict, you would likely be paying nearly half what you can expect at UW. Of course there are caveats in that it's far easier to get an university apartment, but if money is an issue I'd advise looking elsewhere.

John Bedi: I love the fact I can live with my dog, I get that there can be concerns with cleanliness but it’s the same in every other residency. I can say the management is very hard working and takes care of the issues.

Hank: I came in for a tour looking for a place to stay near uw, wasn’t expecting much but the staff was very nice and answered all the questions I had. I would highly recommend!

Jou Ho: is the nicerst person ever who would say hi when she sees you on hallway and she makes the amenities area feel like home.

Rachel Verdeja: are incredible. It’s a very comfy and safe environment.

Sebastian Osuna: This place was so sick! Big shoutout to Isabelle for helping me out and giving me directions. W

Jacob Grimes: This place is absolutely beautiful and has amazing views of the city! The CA Isabelle was extremely kind, super helpful, and answered all of my questions. I would recommend this place to anyone because the community here seems like a dream!

Corey Bonholzer:

Wilsonian Apartments: what do users think?

Lukas Zha: Moved in for a week and am loving it already. I especially enjoy coming downstairs to a lobby full of friendly faces and picturesquely vintage decor. My unit is spacious enough and has a marvelous view from the windows. The walk-in closets also embellish the apartment unit with a touch of mid-century feel. My roommate and I do have some home-improvement work to do here and there but nothing was too hard to fix considering how long this building has been erecting on University Way.I'll come back for an update later when I spend more time here. I don't know if my attitude will change, hopefully it won't.

Alyssa Sismaet: We had a very positive experience living at the Wilsonian from last September to May. This was our first apartment experience and it was great! The management and maintenance were always very helpful when we sent maintenance requests or had questions over email. Management had occasional holiday parties, which was a cute perk. The pricing was very reasonable for a 1 bedroom in the U District, and so was parking. The location was great, right next to many buses and food places. The 1 bedroom was also really big for the price! It’s an older building but it’s perfectly fine.

Kyle Walker: The Wilsonian apartments are overall a decent place to live with really friendly staff who will go out of their way to help you at the desk, leasing office, and for maintenance jobs. The only drawbacks are the older building itself and the lack of amenities.

Mediterranean Inn: what do users think?

Beth Richardson: First time here. We checked in on a Wednesday night at the end of April. We arrived before check in time and were able to get a room early. The lady at the front desk was super sweet and very helpful. Our stay was very pleasant, definitely recommend! We loved our room! We got a corner room on the 4th floor and it was huge for just the two of us. While booking this hotel I wanted a good location downtown and this was exactly that. It’s literally walking minutes from the space needle, restaurants, and also close to a beach. Don’t forget to go to the rooftop and see the views! Parking is under the hotel and felt very secure. Starbucks is downstairs. There is a gym available along with a computer room. If we ever come back to Seattle definitely staying here again!

Constance Hedd: On a weekend trip to Seattle, we chose this location for the price and it was close to most of the main attractions. We booked a 2 bed room and was happy to see we got the corner room with the cute little balcony. The room was very spacious and clean. With a newly renovated bathroom. Although this hotel doesn't have a restaurant or breakfast, there are many cafes and restaurants in the area. We were able to park the car for the weekend and walk to Space Needle, Pike Place Market and more. It was nice not to have to drive around and find parking. The staff was helpful and kind. They kept our bags for the rest of the day after checking out. My daughter had a 6 am zoom meeting and was able to take her laptop to the business meeting room they have and have a quiet space for that. It was a peaceful stay.

Amy Hodges: This is a beautiful place to stay. It has an amazing view from the rooftop. Great atmosphere! Friendly staff! Champagne at check-in! Clean, comfortable rooms! Close to the Climate Pledge Arena, which was where I was headed for an event. As a solo traveler, I felt safe walking to and from the arena.Only complaint would be that the parking spots are ridiculously small. There were no regular parking spots left so I had to park my suv in a compact spot. It was so cramped that I had to get in and out through the trunk. There were vehicles smaller than mine taking up spaces meant for the larger vehicles. If you have a bigger car, do yourself a favor and find parking elsewhere.

Maha Shakir: Perfect location for concert. Clean. Welcoming environment and staff.Rooms: Clean and well furnished.Walkability: To football and basketball arenasFood & drinks: Large variety with in walking distance

Riley Krull: Enjoyed our stay here. Our room was spacious enough to set up a packn’play for our almost one-year-old with no issues, and the location was great. Wish we knew the room would only have a shower and not a bath tub, but it wasn’t a big deal.Walkability: It’s very close to the Climate Plegde Arena, and a short walk to shops and restaurants and the whole Seattle Center area. Great location and we left our car parked the two days we stayed there.

Frode Halvorsen: Fantastic view from the rooftop. Good service and friendly staff. Also walking distance to space needle, MOPC and other things.Rooms: Nice room with a comfortable bed and a lot of space.

D L: Very basic, no breakfast, pool, or hot tub. My 6th floor standard room was pretty nice but had no view, the staff were very kind and understanding. I circled the block a few times trying to find parking, had to run in and ask the front desk. Parking is in the one way alley below the hotel. Free coffee in the lobby, microwave, fridge, coffee makings, and safe in the room.Walkability: About 4 blocks from the space needle, monorail, fountain area. A few restaurants and a Safeway within walking distance.

DJ Lim: While planning a trip to Seattle, I was debating between this hotel and the one near Pike Place Market, and I'm glad I chose the Mediterranean Inn.Pros:- Great location - a 1-minute walk to CVS for essentials, with many great restaurants nearby.- Rooftop - amazing view, with heaters for nighttime temperatures.- Service - fantastic, they let us check in early and greeted us every time we walked in and out of the lobby.- Parking - gated parking garage, $27/night which is great.- Room - the room is cozy and the bathroom is remodeled, so it's very nice.Cons:- Noise - our room was facing the main intersection and it did get pretty loud at times. We could also hear people walking around on the floor above us.- Safety - not really their fault, but just a block away from the hotel gets filled up with homeless people in the evening.- Garage - it seems like they overbook their garage, as it got completely full several times.Overall, it's a great location and a good hotel. I would definitely return.
