The Daring Mormons: The staff has been so helpful -- specifically Aimee -- she was in contact with me the whole first week of me moving in to make sure that everything was going smoothly and was there to answer any questions I might have. She helped with the parking permit, making sure I got the unit I wanted and letting me know where to get good food in the neighborhood. I've had bad experiences in the past with managers/leasing agents not caring so it's nice to be somewhere where they genuinely do!There are bad reviews associated with this place but now that I'm here I know that those things are not accurate. People say the walls are thin... that's just apartment life for ya. People were saying it looks sketchy in the hallways... not at all! The neighborhood and building are full of people just trying to live their life!

Stacy Howard: We moved from Texas. Though apartments are small, we were prepared except the apartment smelled of smokers which 2 weeks later still smells. We got approved to transfer unit which was great. I have nothing but great praise for Aimee, our leasing agent. She was very communicative and super nice, we probably drove her nuts with all the calls and texts and she stayed nice and helpful. You have a winner in her!!

I was completely surprised at the timing of her responses and all the resources she had provided even outside of the rental criteria. She knew I was moving from another state and took the initiative to share information about applying for a WA drivers license, getting a parking permit and the number to Apartment Locators, which I didn't even know existed.From the first phone call to every email and text she showed no signs of discontentment which is so important not only for herself, but for an applicant who is unfamiliar of some of the politics or culture in a different state while blindly moving and needs to be out of their place in less than a month.Overall, it is so important to have a good experience with the leasing agents because that is the first impression and they are the liaison of that community whom the residents may have to interact with on the daily. We all need to respect one another and coexist in the same building at the end of the day. It's like that roomie that's never home, but you know they are around so you still have to "deal" with them. 🙄😅

Shahad Barem: Great location, only 10 minutes from downtown. The apartment has a spectacular view of the mountain and the city, "enjoyed 4th of July and the fire work from my window." Friendly and helpful staff. Universally designed building meaning people with all abilities and disabilities can use it easily: step-less entrance, wide doors, reachable faucets, wooden floor ...etc. AND IT IS PET FRIENDLY!!!

Charles Early: We just moved in and Michael was super on top of everything that we needed to have updated in our apartment! We can’t thank him enough for his great attitude and hard work.

Will Sanchez: I moved in early this year and I have to say that it's been a breeze. I get the City-living feeling from this location. The staff is cool and professional, especially Rolo. The hallways, elevator, gym, and sundeck are well maintained, recently the walls in the front entrance were painted.

Karan M: I moved in a few weeks ago and my experience has been great so far. Spacious rooms, surreal views and prompt responses when it comes to maintenance and any queries in general. The team goes above and beyond to ensure you have a great time here.

Emily Haney: - love the smaller community, that they always have a great team working here, and love the location and building. It's why I stayed so long. The team responds very promptly to requests for service or information. It's not perfect, like any place, and issues that come up are communicated and addressed quickly. Plus there are great dogs.

Stephanie McDowell: The location can't be beat. You get the convenience of being downtown, but this location is much quieter than some other choices. If you like to walk, this is a terrific place. I walk to work each day. You are minutes from Pike Place Market. The pier is right across the street, providing miles of fantastic scenery with the Olympic Sculpture park in one direction, to the ferries in the other direction. My apartment is quiet as I have great neighbors. I've worked almost exclusively with Rolo, and he is super friendly and responsive.

Brittney Cunningham: I recently moved in about 2 months ago and have had a great experience so far. I love the location, great views and the majority of the neighbors I’ve interacted with have been really cool. I have noticed car break ins as mentioned in some other reviews, but realistically I don’t think it’s due to a lack of security but more so a lack of awareness on the part of people living here. There have been times where the front door has been propped open as people are moving but they’re nowhere in sight, which renders the security measures useless and easily allows access to vehicles on level P2. The elevators and the gym could be cleaned more frequently but no major complaints outside of that.

Pankaj Badgujar: We recently moved to 2300 Elliott and had a great experience. Lots of pros, the rooms are spacious, location is awesome, quite close to the elliott bay, great balconies, building is always well-cleaned and well-maintained, rooftop offers great view, the staff Rolo and De both are very helpful and quickly resolve our concerns. Service requests are addressed promptly. Equity portal is also a handy app for availing other services. Some cons are that the lobby should have a coffee bar and a TV monitor or speaker playing songs if possible. Also, the Gym is small and crowded by machines, also has short ceiling height so there's hardly any room to do Body weight exercises. The courtyard is hardly used, and is mostly empty since the weather is cold for 8 months anyway, they should ideally add that space to they Gym to extend it to allow more people and space for stuff like Yoga. Gym should have yoga mats, skipping ropes, wet wipes. Also, have heard the garage going through some break-ins, but we do not have vehicles so weren't affected in that regard. But the cons aren't that big a concern judging by the pros. Overall a great building.

Cheresa Nemitz: I moved from Emmons on Third during the pandemic and opted to move in with my significant other. However, when I lived there I liked the modern aesthetic of the apartment and community areas. The location is right in the mix of all the hustle and bustle of Belltown with many yoga studios, bars and restaurants minutes from your doorstep. In fact, it has a great dog park next door that my pooch and I frequented many times a day!! For convenience, there is also a small scale market downstairs. The rent is affordable for the downtown proximity. There is also a gym and rooftop terrace with BBQ setup for entertaining, etc.NO doubt, Raoul, is one of a kind. Extremely professional. I was fortunate to have met him by a not so fortunate situation but he was ever so helpful, competent in matters with the community he manages- I can assure that you are in good hands., Thanks, Raoul!!

Musabbir Mazhar: The stay has been good so far due to very attentive and professional building manager, Raoul. Whenever there has been building maintenance or other things required, Raoul has been very prompt and proactive to address them.As an example, he reached out to Building Management, procured Heater from nearby store and provided the portable heater when I requested one to make the unit more comfortable.Since Raoul joined, the gym has been a great time to get a workout done since there are cleaning wipes, coffee/snacks and overall clean and pleasant.Raoul and maintenance person Joe, have been prompt with maintenance requests such as bulb replacements, and others.The building management and Raoul have been cooperative to arrange for parking spots as we requested. Appreciate all the work.

Updating my review from 4 starts to 5 stars.I lived in this apartment complex for 2 years from Mid 2018 - Mid 2020. I have no complaints for the complete duration of my stay. I renewed my lease here twice and have no regrets. The only reason I left is due to a work transfer.The price is very fair for the space and amenities and the location is fantastic. On certain floors the view is beautiful. You can see both the Sound and the peak of the Olympic peninsula. There are plenty of bar and food spots around and a bus station right in front of the property. The property management company and their agents have also been extremely helpful. I have personally refereed 2 of my friends to this building as well and they have both lived there for over 6 months.All in all, this apartment has made my Seattle experience extremely enjoyable, I would highly recommend.

Lindsi Luken: Venue Baby Shower -- We had a wonderful experience utilizing the Mark on 8th venue for a baby shower! The venue is on the second floor of the building and is highly spacious with great lighting. It has beautiful french-style sliding glass doors that open onto the large patio. There is a fire pit, BBQs, and plenty of comfortable seating outside which is is nice if the inside venue starts getting warm. We had the catering delivered to the venue as well, which proved no issues with vendors we were working with. Shakel was the building manager we worked with upon arriving to the venue with decorations; she was very helpful and made everything as seamless for us as possible. Would definitely use this venue again!

Brian Rodriguez: Very Informative, Super Easy and great customer service by the property manager

Jackie: July $59.87 and August $16.87. There is a Sewer Capacity and Sewer fee, two separate lines, adding to almost $100 per month. Trash, renter’s insurance and water appear reasonable than a service fee charge of $5. Don’t bother cleaning your apt when you leave as you will be charged a mandatory $80 cleaning fee that he won’t disclose verbally at signing. Sennett is the only point of contact for the whole building, keep that in mind as you are at the mercy of this fake and phony person. Who ever is considering moving in the noise outside is horrendous, downtown is close due to Corona so not worth paying Downtown prices.

K C: I lived at AMLI for about 3 years. It was an overall pleasant experience, the staff was really friendly and helpful with any questions and difficulties I had. Shout out to the maintenance people for being responsive and efficient too.I recommend checking out the actual apartment before signing a lease, just so you know what the view and feel is like.The gym is small but has good coverage, I mostly used the cardio machines, but sometimes machines and dumbbells. There's also free coffee/tea in the lounge area, which was awesome and convenient if you didn't want to brew your own.The best thing was the location because it was close to the Lake and I could go walk by it any time. This was really good in the summer.There are some drawbacks which is more of preferences, but it might not bother you:If you are not a morning person, the garbage truck is very loud and comes for pick up early, like 6-7AM. I was facing Pontius Ave N. I am a morning person and wake up at 6AM usually, so it didn't bother me.Walls are pretty thin, from bottom too. I had made couple noise complaints while I lived here. Which were resolved, after reaching out to management.If you want a good view, you won't be getting it here, the building is shorter and adjacent to other apartment buildings. You will see other people's apartments. Windows aren't tinted so you won't have much privacy, especially at night. Natural lighting will be hard to get unless you have your blinds up.If view and morning noise doesn't bother you, AMLI 535 is an amazing apartment choice. There's a lot of good restaurants and its walking distance to Whole Foods for groceries. And not too far from Capitol Hill if you are trying to get there. There are also buses close by.Thank you AMLI Staff for making the apartment experience great.

Amanda Bear: First I want to say, my time here was great. My lease was less than a year. Fairly easy to find street parking all around the building, never had any problems with packages or mail, and the staff responded in a timely manner to all my messages. A great bonus was having the streetcar stop 1 block from the building. My only issue is the units are small, I believe mine was ~200sqft. Liveable, but was missing some luxuries I wanted. If tiny living is for you, this is the place for you.

The studio has a modern look, granite countertops and new appliances. We definitely cannot forget about the gorgeous rooftop terrace with an amazing view. Utilities are all included at a flat rate per month.I am super impressed with the property manager and staff, The property manager is extremely professional, friendly and prompt on getting back to her tenants/potential tenants. She provides exceptional customer service. Property manager responds to maintenance requests promptly and she is attentive to tenants. She helps with scheduling in-person tours or virtual. Straight forward on answers to any questions and lease agreement are explained flawlessly.She goes above and beyond for her tenants/potential clients. It is always a pleasure to see her and property staff. The grounds and facilities are organized and kept clean. There is easy access to a bus line and close to restaurants. If you are in the market for a studio and looking for a place to call home. I highly recommend. This is the place to be!

They kept us updated the whole time and made sure we we're all set before closing our maintenance request. Communicative management makes living here easy.

The building is well done so that noise from other neighbors is minimal, sometimes I forget that I have upstairs neighbors! All of the residents have been friendly and welcoming. The location is fantastic, within walking distance to most stores you need. The gym is fantastic, well equipped and maintained. The staff is friendly and super helpful. Special shout out to Ivy who brought my package into my apartment for me, when I was out of town and worried about it. She really went above and beyond. Also, to Jorge who is the best maintenance man anyone could hope for. He always responds to maintenance requests quickly and tells you when to expect the work to be completed by, if it’s not a quick fix. He always stops to say hello and chat with the residents to make sure they are doing well. I am so glad that I found this community!

The gym is great, the community room is beautiful, and the parking is reasonably priced. Some parking spots can be a little tight however, there are more then enough as finding parking at night during the week or other times when everyone is home in the community is not a problem at all.My unit is super spacious with tons of luxury features from beautiful flooring to GORGEOUS white counter tops. I do have carpet in the bedrooms but it is very nice and none of the cheap stuff you sometimes see in some post reno units at other places. My neighbors have been welcoming and my overall experience has been lovely. The prices are unbelievable for the features and amenities and I don't know if we just got a stellar deal but this price was wonderful and warrants at least a look at this community if whoever reads this happens to be looking.Lastly the staff are amazing here! There were issues along the way such as a power outage the day before my move in and the system having slight hiccups but it was nothing Amanda and team couldn't handle. Jorge *I call the friendly maintenance person* has been friendly, nice, and helpful. Amanda and Jorge both have gone above and beyond and I must say this place is a true gem in central district! RENT HERE!!!!! 5/5, 10 stars, there is even an amazon fresh right across the street and great dining options close by so this place ticks all the boxes. OUTSTANDING COMMUNITY!

Katryna Eastwood: Touring apartments can always be stressful and my roommate and I had a hard time finding a place that felt like home. We stumbled upon the Olympus and Alexis was such a gem to work with. We were working in a very specific move-in window, but she informed us of our options and kept in touch with us until we were able to find our apartment. We are so excited to be moving in soon and so thankful for Alexis who has made the process so easy.

My roommate and I were looking for apartments in the middle of the winter which is arguably when they’re the cheapest, and we were looking at another building in the area when we happen to notice that we were by Olympus, which was one of our dream apartments, but we didn’t think we could afford it. We went in probably two minutes before the office closed and Alexis, the love of my life, made time for us to answer all of the crazy questions we had and make sure we were set up to tour and see the building They had apartments available that were in our budget and we were pessimistic about finding the same apartments in the summer, which was when we were moving, and Alexis told us that there was always a chance we would find the apartment that we liked in our budget, and when one did come available that was miraculously in our budget, Alexis, of course, was on top of it and helped us so much, and we could not be more excited and happier to bother Alexis every day when we see her now in person.

mariah schmidt: Just moved in and Aelin was an absolute dream to work with. We had a pretty tight schedule because our last lease was ending and I was able to book a 5:30pm tour on a Thursday and was approved and signed my lease late Friday afternoon. Aelin’s communication was unmatched. We never felt out of the loop and honestly we didn’t expect things to be so seamless, especially last minute. If you get to choose who you work with, ask for Aelin. She is personable and honest and I felt comfortable moving forward in the process because of that.The location itself is unmatched in beauty. I’ve lived in Belltown further down and this area is much more peaceful and it seems there are a lot of long time locals which says a lot. So far, I’m very satisfied. The concierge staff is also very kind. So far, it feels like home.

Matt Philippi: Sculpture Park. This park has great security and is well maintained. It is a great place to go take a stroll, go for a run down the shoreline, walk the dog or just hang out and catch a view of the bay during a beautiful sunset. Ashley Elliott: This is the third year I have lived in the Olympus Apartments. There have been many changes, but one thing I can always count on is a truly wonderful management team. Huge shoutout to the crew for everything they do. Also, I count on the concierge for a lot of help with packages, drop offs, etc. and they are always happy to help me. On the office side, Alexis Provo is always knowledgeable and helpful, and she has a really positive attitude. The apartments themselves are spacious and make great use of the space. Lots of huge windows and large floor plans. We also feel safe here as a security guard is regularly walking the perimeters.

Monserratt Ochoa: Leasing staff, concierge and maintenance team are so kind and awesome. Any issue is taken care of promptly and I love living here.

Mechanic Man: We had a family member in Harborview ,as she had an emergency aneurism. Being from eastern WA, we really weren't too familiar for places to stay. and still be near the hospital. We were told that First Hill was mainly for The Hutch cancer patients and their families,so we were grateful that we were able to stay there. Already traumatized, we found The Hill to be a wonderful place to stay for the duration and also for return visits. When seeing the negative reviews, I'm surprised. Of course, it's not a 5 star hotel, but it was clean, welcoming and not their fault that there's no restaurant nearby. We brought groceries and cooked our own meals--happy to be able to do it too. Thank you, First Hill, for welcoming us the way you did. By the way, later on, we saw you featured on the TV show, ABC's "20-20". Mental hugs to all of you!

AssignedMenaceAB: This place would be perfect if they just had 3/4 or full size fridges. Honestly sad to be moving after living here for 2 years. Management is great, zoned street parking isn't too bad to find, and the selection of stores nearby is awesome. Packages are stolen sometimes but you'll find that in most places.

Jasmin Ponce: I would like to point out that in my experience, office staff has been very responsive, accessible and understanding. However, hallways are always "stuffy" a bit smelly due to lack of airflow, especially in lower levels. Entrances to buildings often smell like dog pee and if your balcony is near one of those, for sure you'll catch a whiff of that. The apartments are old, the cabinets have so many layers of paint that the doors no longer stay closed. My sink faucet is working but the water pressure makes it very difficult to open it, it may seem like an exaggeration but it is ridiculous the amount of force required to open the faucet. While the bathroom fans work, they are loud as helicopters and you will hear your neighbor's fan loud and clear. Oh, and there's also the package thief guy... Other than that, neighbors are nice, respectful, everyone seem to keep to themselves and seem reasonable for the most part. I gave it 4 stars because unfortunately, I've been in way worse places that make this place not so bad... which is sad.

Juliette Vega: I've been here for just under a year and it's been a wonderful living experience. The staff are friendly, efficient, great communicators and just a delight to interact with. Every maintenance request I've submitted has been resolved within a day. Amenities are as advertised. The building is clean and grounds are clean and well maintained. The neighbors are friendly.

Jordan W: .3. Units. These are some of the most spacious units I could find in Seattle. They have so much natural lighting and some of the biggest balconies I've ever seen. Such a beautiful view from them as well. The fireplace is a great touch for the winter season.4. Overlook Staff. I can't remember the last time I lived in a place where it felt like the management staff truly cared about their tenants. More specifically I've worked with Ana and Claire and they're so friendly and even remember the name of our dog!Cons: These aren't cons to me, but I know others may feel differently.1. Parking. Parking in the complex is paid but less expensive than other places I've paid for. There is street parking but it can be a pain sometimes especially later in the evening to find a spot close to your building.2. The units, may not be as updated and modern as some would like. I find them to be quaint, and cozy.3. There are times when we can hear the people above or below us walking around. We also live by stairs and can hear people going up and down them as well. More often than not, it is not an issue. But if you're sensitive to those kinds of things I'd advise looking at a unit not by the stairs.Overall I highly recommend living here. My roommate and I will be here until they kick us out :

RISEN KING OF GLORY JESUS: Alex Findlay the community director has been extremely sincere and professional helping us since we've lived here we've had different situations arise that are just part of life and he was very professional didn't take it personally handled them in a business like manner extremely sincere prompt caring and I really appreciate that I've been around the block a few times and ran into my sheriff professional people and I'll just say that the team you got under Alex right now with Claire as well is phenomenal! If I was Overlooking at Magnolia I'd give Alex a raise definitely he is a good fit for that position Claire as well. Shalom thank you for making me want to keep living here .

Orion: This was my first home in Seattle and the staff in the office is so incredibly helpful that we chose this complex over another in Northgate with in-unit w/d. We were in the K building and didn’t have any issues with pests or package theft at the time. Parking is priced reasonably, you can hear trains and the Ballard bridge, and the units all are reasonably priced. Magnolia is pretty car centric but the 24, 33, and 31 busses are relatively reliable if you can tolerate the hills lol

N D: First of all, we are newcomers to Seattle and United States. We came here last year in April. I spent may be 3 or 4 night time calls from so far and there was a significant time difference in time zones. And I received so warm attitude and understanding of our movement and changes in life. The team of Overlook at Magnolia supported from initial steps and named us as "super heroes". They helped a lot from the application process. The application process went very smoothly. Exceptional attitude!!! If you are willing to find one of the best and quiet neighborhood in Seattle, it is Magnolia.

Colleen W.: I’ve lived in the St James apartments for 5 years. Every lease renewal I like to check out other spaces to ensure I’m in the best place and I can confidently say that I am. While the building isn’t as new as others, and I do not have a W/D in my unit, the layout makes sense, I have a real bedroom and full size kitchen appliances. The laundry room is convenient with 4 washers and 4 dryers so laundry is not a time suck.The management and maintenance are the best. Strong communication and friendly. They schedule community events and make you feel truly at home.The location speaks for itself. I love being in the heart of Fremont.

Rebecca Butler: These are the views from my balcony! My apartment is just as beautiful on the inside. I have lived here for almost 2 years, and it truly feels like home. I started out in a one bedroom, and when I needed to upgrade to a 2 bedroom the process was super easy and straightforward. The whole building is immaculately clean and well kept. The views are gorgeous from everywhere. I have always felt safe, especially with the multiple doors and security desk. And honestly, the best part of all is the people. The manager and head of maintenance are genuinely kind and have gone out of their way to make me feel comfortable. They're incredibly responsive to all my maintenance requests, and they always check in to make sure things are still going well. They have also organized several rooftop barbecues. My neighbors and I absolutely love them and always look forward to them. Everyone gets treated like a VIP here! If you're looking for a home that feels like home in every way, this is the place! 🙂

Stacee: I have been living at St James Tower for more than a year now.Marcus and Edgar are the friendliest and most helpful people you’ll ever meet in an apartment management office.The building is located in a great location, right close to the Burke Gilman trail and all the fun stuff in Fremont. The view from the rooftop and some apartments are unbeatable.Only 4 stars because I honestly think the management company could invest some more work on the 24-hour maintenance line. Our elevator was down a few times during the weekend and we called that line but they didn’t fix it 🤷‍♀️ When Marcus was back on Monday, he got it taken care of right away. But then what’s the point of the 24h maintenance line if that line doesn’t deal with urgency?There was another time when water was cut in our building on a Saturday morning, I called the 24h maintenance line again and the lady who answered the phone snapped at me and said too many people have called about that same problem so I should just wait. That answer was ridiculous on so many levels 🤷‍♀️

Evan Ziebell: St. James Tower was my first "home away from home" when I moved to Seattle four years ago. I could not have made a better choice for my first apartment. The building is positioned in a walkable location in Fremont. The rooftop deck offers spectacular views of Mount Rainier and Lake Union. The sense of camaraderie among the residents and staff provided an unmatched experience for me. Adrienne, the Community Director, is quick to assist residents and resolve any issues. Edgar, the maintenance Service Manager, is extremely skilled and professional at every encounter. I recommend this community to everyone I meet. While it's true that Seattle is a difficult city to meet new people, St. James was the place I made lifelong friendships and memories that I will cherish forever.
